Dear S2,
Please check out Swift Blade ultimate. I think it's broken at the moment because SB does take damage during the ultimate.
It happened to me in the game. I used SB's ulti on Corrupted Disciplined with low HP bcoz I thought it would have turned me invulnerable but unfortunately I got killed by CD's 3rd skill once SB's ultimate started on CD.
Thanks
Cant check it right now, but IIRC CD's passive procs after the spell uses mana and cooldown but before it does anything. So working as intended, you were not invulnerable when passive dealt damage to you.
I also believe that if you die and ulti in the same frame your ulti will trigger but you still die, might be the case.
Tested this and the dmg is dealt before you get the invulnerability and therefore killing you.
The ult however is fully executed and the dmg is dealt, even tho you are dead.
Nothing to do with frames.
If u are below 75 hp(24,8 MA), u will die and the ult will still go off.
The ultimate part will go off, but there will be no additional attacks from the ultimate. If I'm correct of course.
Many of the above posters are correct. However since there are still some questions let me sum it up:
Corrupted Disciple's Passive damages on <onattackedpreimpact>
Swiftblade does not become invulnerable until <onimpact>. This is why he can die at the same time his ultimate begins. His ultimate state has deathpersist="true" and the affector it creates has persist="true" (similar to Torturer's Impalement). The affector does the swift slash damage, and will continue to identify new targets and damage them even if Swiftblade is dead. For normal situations when Swiftblade is alive, it also sends a command for him to attack (<order command="attack" />) the current target for 400 ms until he blinks to the next target. However, since he is dead from the Corrupted Disciple incident, the attack command doesn't accomplish anything, and therefore the only damage that is done is the fixed amount from the affector.
Note: The affector does the exact same thing as the initial strike, minus the mini-stun.

This has been brought up before and CD's passive is not the only ability that triggers this.
Swiftblade can die to Magebane's passive as well. Ultimate will still go off and deal damage, but by the time it ends SB will be dead.
^SB is dead before the ultimate ends.
A few weeks ago, i died in my ulti with sb.
It was on panda, he used cannonball. He killed me, in the middle of swift slashes.
