I have been waiting for this to be fixed for months now. I cannot view any history of any matches from the website at all regardless of who they are from some matches aren't missing all are... It would be nice to atleast get a timeline on when this would be fixed and the extra features suggested by the op would be nice also.

Some good suggestions and I agree with them but I think a lot us would be happy with the replay system just actually working.

absolutely -- just give us a timeline for now.


In my opinion, there are a lot of players who want to watch better players playing their favorite hero(es). it's really cumbersome to check out the actual smurf account names of pro players and then systematically browser their match history to find a match of them playing your favorite hero. i have coded myself -- it's really not much to code to implement some kind of filter mechanism.
the replays are afaik stored in a database. you just have to implement a new database query based on the given filter. but who am I that I tell you how to accomplish such things. for sure you know better. but when it's not that costly, why not letting one of your interns code it for us?


but for now I am absolutely ok with a timeline.


please note that a lot of players watch replays as it's a source of inspiration for them to play other heroes again. and also please note that this inspiration can animate us to buy another hero xy who was played really good by some player and inspired us like "yeah, I also want to try this hero, seems fun".

I agree. even trying to look at my old games that I like I can't find them because searching is so bad and needs to be fixed. Its amazing that you have this feature. Its part of what makes s2 great and yet you don't take advantage of it and I think that is a shame.
