Why does Vindi's usage % keep dropping? Vindi went from being a pretty popular hero, into #92 this week. Considering that new-Vindi is supposedly "buffed", the loss in fun must've been ENORMOUS to create such a rout.
The new vindi is not a buff. Hes remade, and his passive sucks pretty bad. After almost 900 pages, S2 still refuses to rework it again. It makes me sad.
Convert vindi to a support/ganker IMO, tweak the orb attack, adding a slow and dealing much less damage, change passive to a castable spell that has the same effect, with added armor bonus (adds armor, and causing attacking heros to be silenced) Ult and brain drain can remain, maybe add a small slow to brain drain and increase CD

ACTIVATION:
Any enemy hero the Vindicator can see and who casts a spell while in range of the Aura is Silenced.
Any enemy hero who dies while in range of the Aura will permanently lose 1 Intelligence while Vindicator permanently gains 2 Intelligence.
Only applies to visible enemy heroes.
Passively grants 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 Attack Speed.
Enemies that attack you are Silenced for .5 / 1 / 1.5 / 2 seconds.

So i guess this is outdated? because it says that enemies are silenced when they attack you but ALSO when they cast a spell while in range of the aura. And it says he gains INT from enemies who die within aura even if he doesnt kill them (like devourer).
If I am wrong or misinterpreting the info in any way, please correct me.
vindi needs to be reverted to his old self(as does keeper of the forest but that's another matter), S2 im sure there are millions of others out there who want this as well, please make it happen(or at least change his glyph back!)
The int back on his E would make him much better, so much effort must go into farming int items, with that stacking more could go into survivability. Either that or add something passive to E to allow for some sort or escape mechanism, like increased speed on enemy cast or something.

Crazy idea: When vindi dies, he leaves his book behind. Silencing all enemies within a X radius for Y time (optional: when they cast a spell/when they are attacked/when they attack). Now people will have to think twice before nuking down vindi in a teamfight. Which hopefully in some cases makes vindi not a priority target, which is a VERY good thing for any carry, espescially a ranged carry.
I wish vindi would be reverted to his old original self. I miss playing him![]()

Why has this gotten to 44 pages... obviously S2 is not going to revert the hero back.
people dont neccesarily want a reversion, they want further changes and more synergy.
As it stands now, vindi is an extremely late game carry, and has no real escape mechanism. When he is in carry mode, his only out is to fight out.
No blink, no invz no stun, nothing.

Sage's wisdom makes vindi have a truly unique characteristic. This rework is terrible. They cut off the fun part of this hero.

S2 don't know how to create a good and interesting hero. All new heroes suck, all have stun ( or slow, or some other cc combo), all have great farming capabilities, etc... And they reworked some old good ones ( vindi, keeper). I don't know, i am just really disappointed....
had about 6% played on the old one in MM, played him 1 time since the rework and that was enough. Never played him again. He's beyond terrible now.Went from my most played to never played.
