Pred is the #1 hero I hate seeing picked most when I tmm, even more so than scout. But it comes close to legionaire.

I rarely win with a pred on my team.


Here is how to be successful with predator.
#1. Do not play predator because he is a terrible hero.
#2. If you insist on playing predator, do not jungle with him.

Pred is a great hero, but this whole jungle kick with him has to stop. He's a horribly slow jungler with skills more suited for duo laning.

What's the reason why he isn't picked in tourneys? I know that zoning was the reason in the trilane era, but now that FWS is a lot weaker on ranged carries it shouldn't be such an issue.
From pub experience Tablet makes him life miserable, because you can wait 'till he leaps and then just push the target away. But is it that strong in comp scene where team communication enables Predator's team to keep the target slowed/stunned?

Best Pred is jungle Pred. That is, jungling for 40+min, never leaving jungle, never getting ganked. Coming out and roflstomping everyone lategame.

OP is right. Pred is very weak compared to other str carries and is countered easily by tablet. If you pick over any of these you are just doing a big mistake.
