so you gonna send this guy to jail for a long time ?
Pretty sure the people behind the attack on HoN were arrested months ago and they were all British.
These guys are going to jail because they thought it would be a laugh to shut business and government websites down. I don't get it. Worth it?

Lulsec were responisble for the DDoS attack that caused so much trouble in the community due to servers crashing, S2 having to buy new server providers, **** failing in between the migration , etc.
like a whole month of problems.
they trashed Sony/Epic Games/Nintendo/Riot Games/the British National Health Service (didnt actually do anything, just broke in and then told the admins to up their security) and i'm pretty sure a few others
Sony got most of the **** for it, PSN was down for a good few weeks and people were raging
tbh what they did was a good thing, it was a message to show that companies dont keep their security as tight as they should, they did all this for the lulz.
but hurr durr laws n ****.
When you break the law and act like an immature brat, any point you're attempting to make gets lost.
did they break the law? ye, did it bring to light shoddy protocols from companies that are by keeping your valuables (credit card details/personal information) safe? yes, did you lose out? no
it would of been FAR worse if someone actually took these details and screwed millions of people over.
its a variation of whilstle-blowing, someone has to take one for the team.
the sheer fact that these internet geeks can crack million dollar companies down for a joke is amazing.
You can try all you want but you can't justify some random hacker, whose not affiliated with the victim company, breaking into personal data or shutting down websites no matter what their intentions.
The fact that you still view it as a joke is unsettling. I wonder how you'd feel if some guy broke into your house, crept into your child's room and drew a smiley face on her cheek. Pretty sure you wouldn't be glad in the morning when he showed up to tell you he did it because you left your door unlocked. The world doesn't need vigilantes to make me feel safe.

Some secret informations my honeys, Lulsec basicly didn't do a lot. Most of their stuff is stolen, they just made it public. The vulnerabilities were half public, they just used them and wanted attention. Lulsec never DDoSd S2. You guys are retarded. S2s servers are ****, you can DDoS a gameserver with 20bots, 40bots and the server will crash (that's nothing btw). Every little kid with a botnet could have brought S2 down -- and that's what it was.
bunch of script kiddies bringing websites down for 5 mins. l33t h4x0rz
