Microphone

My microphone isn't working properly in HoN but works just fine Skype, Team speak or Ventrilo. The sound is static, very low and muffled.
It's not a usb headset, just some regular headset.
And also i can't turn Mic Boost off in ingame options, it just wont uncheck the box when i click it, any solutions?

First. make sure that you audio drivers are up to date

Secondly, could you upload a copy of your console.log to http://tools.heroesofnewerth.com and post a link to view it here?

Third, could you copy the text of your startup.cfg and post it here as well.
