So what do you think is best for him?
To be honest I have no clue at the moment haha.
get point into the cyclone skill and then max the tree/creep shooting stuff along the shield and ulties when ever you can.
I would start buy going mid with 2xmark of the novice, 2xtotems and blights. I would aim bottle, red boots, psupply and grave locket. I could imagine hes not that strong hero in mid and needs lvls to make and impact so another artesia like trash hero. After laning items I would choose between phase/treads and then like cyclone/tablet torturer like items. Luxury frostfield, hex, null, behe
I agree with the skillbuild.
Yeah, build gravelocket and maybe tablet. I could imagine getting some armor being good, so his shield takes more damage(if it's after reductions). Maybe we should build him more tanky with some mana regen(nullstone?). His ultimate has no cooldown, which means: if he has mana and survives, he will do a shitload of damage. Reminds me of artesia.
The hero really is a ganker/nuker/support, He has no real farming skill. I think he will be level dependant more than item dependant.

Playing on Gunz4hire`
max the first two skills and the ult. get a portal key and just jump on top of some one disable them with the first skill lift stuff with ult then use all the w lift charges and throw the ult (which includes the trees from w).

Yeah, I was quite a bit sad when I realized I couldn't do this =( Here are a couple of fun things you can do though:
1. Lift one allied creep at the start to delay it to coming to lane -> you are preventing a push
2. Lift one/two allied creep when pulling -> You can now pull with no stack and still kill all your creeps, except it takes more time.
3. Lift units to prevent the enemy from landing lasthits.
4. You can prepare in a sense, since lifting something will allways keep it in the air for 8 seconds, so at the max level of your W, given the 2.5 second cd of lifting, you can have 7 things airborne at once. With ult that's 15 lifted units, which is 1500 magic damage AoE, which is basically a soulstealer ultimate.
Don't forget the W and ult just lifts, E and re-ult throws. If you want to be sure about hitting someone with the meganuke, you can throw everything with E. If you do this you still keep the ult-throw off cd, so you can throw a few lifted things AoE if you wish.
This guy should pretty much be played like a soulstealer if you ask me, let him solo because he can dish out huge ammounts of magic damage if he gets levels. Mid is good for him because he ahs so many ways of outplaying his opponent and his base damage is pretty good. I tried out radiance on him and it's a shame I didn't like it =( Every item I built on this guy seems wrong.
Boots of Choice
cheap stats (Gravelocket, Power Supply)
core:
Tablet, Arcana, Staff of the Master
Arcana will turn into -> Hellflower, Spellshards, or Harkons later; your choice depending on what you feel is best for the game
Stormspirit if you like it for mobility, and/or Portal Key to do some nasty things; just whenever you're comfortable with picking them up
Situational Shrunken
Luxury the obvious int luxuries (Sheep, FWS, Nullstone, Frostfield, Puzzle)
-
As you get the items, Portal key ganking will become your bread and butter; Port in, Q disable, gather charges, then Hellflower/Sheep/Frostfield/apply Harkons and nuke to death. Tablet out if necessary. Tablet is just for the early game mobility+nice mana pool, and is a great backup escape mech/utility pickup. I guess you could consider Shroud too but that's kinda lame *cough Gravekeeper's picking up Shroud every game*
..there, wasn't that hard to figure out
edit:
apparently Staff of the Master upgrades his ulti by quite a fair amount, so I threw it in core lol
