I don't get what you're all so worked up about. This whole primary was pointless to begin with, considering that none of the Republicans who actually stood a chance against Obama even tried to get the nomination. All the candidates with a brain in their head are waiting it out till 2016, when they don't have to run against an incumbent president. This is the 2004 election all over again and it will end up with John Kerry's Repub equivalent, a.k.a. Mitt Romney, getting the nomination, and he will lose against Obama. Have fun with another 4 years of that guy.

These Santorum voters are more concerned that Santorum "supports" their beliefs than anything else. I have yet to see or read of a Santorum voter talking about the state of the US' infrastructure, the education system, serious economic policies and so on. Things that MATTER and should be addressed not some bullshit like no abortion, don't ask don't tell, school prayer, no gay marriage, etc - The type of things that weasels like Santorum take advantage of to distract people from the real issues.

I'm all for the repeal of DADT but I still don't see why there's so much outrage over it when it was originally designed to protect gays in the military. Something it must have accomplished since there's a fair amount enlisted despite many top brass being against it.

[EDIT] Regardless, Santorum doesn't stand a chance in iced over hell of winning the Repub. Mitt will be their man and he'll probably lose anyway.
