    Items for Silhoutte?

Sillhouete is my practically my most used and favourite hero. I do pretty well with her and I know the skill build to use personally.

It's just the items I'm wondering, I see different people use different sets and it works but when I attempt it, it fails miserably.

So what's the best item set for Silhouette? (Or yours)

    Here is my item set:

    Starting items : x2 Duck Boots 1 H Pot 1 Runes 2 Totems
Laning items : Bottle (When mid), Power supply, Phase boots
( X2 Soul rings if I'm doing bad)
Core : Thunderclaw, Assassin Shroud, Nullstone
Luxury : Charged Hammer, Shield Breaker, Savage Mace, Geometer's bane
    Optional : Shrunken

There is a huge amount of items you can go in different order as silhouette is a flexible hero.

Starting build is good, if i lane i go for an early ring of the teacher.
Steamboots are great, imo better then ghost marchers on this squishy hero. But they work great with her attack speed buff and it comes down to your preference/how well you do.

Before thinking of the core you buy a bottle(mid)/rott(lane), power supply, magic armor, tp.

Build 1: Most of the time iīd go for nullstone, shieldbreaker, shrunken after. Thatīs a solid core which helps you to put out the vast amounts of damage you can deal.

Build 2: Another route to go is geo and fws. In a bad game you can go frostburn first and split it up later. Shrunken afterwards, because... well you always need shrunken.

So you end up with 4 core items + bottle/psupp/rott/vest and a tp.

Afterwards sell your low tier item and get a item fitting your situation best.
In general geo works great in the first build and so does savage mace in the second. If you desperately need armor, go for a wingbow/ac.

    Situational pickups:
You need a purge? Go for a quick nullfire.
You need to shutdown blinkers (because your team failed the picks)? Consider getting a hellflower.
Need to survive? Pick up a heart late game.

Build 3: Pk as a first or second big item. This needs to be mentioned as a different build because it makes you play much more gank oriented.

Pls donīt go for Thunderclaw/charged hammer. They belong to the dps items which give you no defense whatsoever. But compared to any other item like sb, sm, rift, theyīre just bad.

Donīt go for shroud either. It adds an escape mechanism to a hero which already got 2, once they counter it, the money is completely wasted. Even if they donīt counter it, you shouldnīt need it more then letīs say a shrunken.

Your core items are kinda fked. Lets assume you can play silho and use her skill decent, so we can only worry about skill build. Starting items seem to ok, but phase boots? Get steamboots instead and your laning items are almost fine, consider vestments. As your core which is fked up you should pick something like portal key, nullstone, shieldbreaker even sometimes frostburn. As lategame items geo, savage, wingbow, hellflower, satanic or something like that. Just never get pew pew lightnings

I find Steamboots a better pick up tbh.
    PK is great.

I just had another game with .

I pretty much got my laning items and I rushed for a Charged Hammer which served me well in the end.

I prefer Phase boots since I feel needs to chase or use it to get the grapple perfect or lotus.

I haven't tried PK with her yet, what do I use it for really?

I actually got alot of HP in the end at level 25 with just Frostwolf skull as my only +STR item which came about 2.5k so I don't really prefer Steamboots as Charged hammer and my passive gives it really.

portal key you grapple to a tree, then pkey next to them and then stun them

Personally I think Phase boots can do the job instead of PK because I'm very good at aiming the grapple so I don't really need it to position.

Another question : Which heros counter Silhouette and which heros can Silhouette bash the brains out of?

Silo has a massive amount of attackspeed and therefore in my opinion only requires pure damage items (sheild breaker, savage mace) and defensive items (shrunken, nullstone)
In this world gone mad, we won't spank the EM players, the EM players will spank us.

She almost has a massive amount of damage (from her e) and in that sense you could also argue that she only requires attack speed items to build up those salvo stacks. In the end, it evens out and both damage and attack speed items work.
