Please stop making making ALT Avatars 3000 silver

    Hello,
I remember the good old days when a new alt avatar would come out, whether it was regular or gold edition, and it would only cost 560 silver or so. Now every time a new ALT avatar is released they cost 3000 silver.

Please bring the cost back down, I paid $30 to play this game and was having a fun time purchasing alt avatars at a reasonable price, now my opinion towards S2 is changing and now I see them as a corporate business trying to get more money. I understand that you guys want to more money so you make alt avatars 3000 silver which makes people want to shortcut and buy gold from you guys to get the avatar quicker.

It's cosmetic.. you paid 30 to play the game. The price being 3k silver is good imo...the best part about alts is not every trolling kid has it.

The amount of people willing to pay $1 for a videogame skin vastly outnumber the amount willing to pay $10.

3000s prices make people feel like S2 is trying to extort them, which makes them less likely to buy. Reasonable prices will make more people buy: just look at Steam sales. Gabe loves yachts.

Way more people than you think are buying these alts...that's exactly why they are still priced this high.

You don't "purchase" with silvers. You "exchange."
Purchasing is when you actually buy gold coins. So basically, you're getting silver coins for, well, game time really.
My goal is for at least one of my heroes to be ported into HoN! Help my cause and get S2 to see these!

No, what people like you don't get is that selling alts for silver was just a SHORT TERM PHASE in s2's business plan.

I have no doubts that when they made the store they were already reviewing their business model. They knew that once they went f2p that the silver system would be in place for buying new heroes and that gold would then be used for buying alts.

Just don't support them with cash and use up as much server bandwidth as possible if you don't aprove of there pricing but still like the game. As long as people buy these overpriced alts, the more they will release.

    Unlimited supply and high demand.

The perfect recipe to gouge people for their money and have unlimited yachts and ferraris.

If people actually smartened up and stopped buying terrible alt avatars for crazy prices they would have to put more work into them and lower the price.

Some people are just happy to bend over and take it though, they even spread their cheeks for them.

It's customization option ffs. It doesn't affect your game by any means. Stop whining about unimportant stuff, spoiled brats.

They are not terrible. You get the skins for free with mods, but you guys just have to show off.
How else is S2 going to make money, its just cosmetics.

All I'm saying is I've bought $10 worth of gold during a sale and, despite wanting to support S2 for making a great game, I still felt ripped off, I regret the purchase and I'm never going to buy any again.

I just take HoN's patches and updates for granted, I feel entitled to them and I get mad at S2 for coming up with so many skins because their business tactics seem so shady (Nevermind the great job they do on this game, and how well maintained and updated they keep it).

On the other hand, I have no qualms about throwing money at the Killing Floor developers, simply because they make it look like they're actually offering me an optional, reasonably priced service instead of just milking me for money. Even though there's no real difference, and S2 are probably better at what they do.

That's just how people work. Give them a good enough deal and they'll spend all their money on Steam sales.
