    [DTC-1] Example Line-Up

    For those having trouble getting started, and just in general to give you some idea of what I imagine your entry threads should look like, I'm going to create a small sample.

    Heroes - Richard Rahl, Kahlan Amnell, Cara, Zeddicus Zu'l Zorandor
    (If it's not obvious - the theme is characters based on the "Sword of Truth" series)

    Push oriented line-up: This teams focus lies in pushing, using Kahlan Amnell and Cara's ability to control units, while using Richard Rahl's aura to augment them, while Zeddicus serves as a utility hero useful for surprise ganks and pushes that can also make it more difficult for enemies to stop you from pushing. Furthermore, Cara will make great use of Kahlan's and her controlled units to deal more damage. She's augments a pushing team especially well with her passive which allows her to get stronger the more your team gathers, and increases the damage your team deals to towers if you push as a team.

    Richard Rahl - Semi-Carry, Strength Melee

    Abilities:

    Sword of Truth - The Sword of Truth is forged from additive and subtractive magic, allowing Richard to cut through any material without much trouble.
    Richard Rahl ignores up to 40/50/60/70% of a targets (units, buildings) physical armor on attacks.

    Lord Rahl's Presence - The Presence of the Lord Rahl inspires those around him, increasing their will to fight. The stronger Richard gets, the stronger this effect becomes.
    Increases your and nearby units damage 3/6/9/12 + 0.1/0.15/0.2/0.25x your strength and their armor by 1.5/2/2.5/3.


    Kahlan Amnell - Support/Pusher, Intelligence Ranged


    Abilities:

    Confessor's Touch - The Mother Confessor unleashes her power into the target unit which will wash away their will and put them under her control. Units affected by Confessor's Touch would do anything for their Mistress and will battle more fircely.
    Gain control of target unit permanently. It gains +15/30/45 health regeneration and +10/15/20 mana regeneration per second and has its damage increased by 20/30/40, and gains 40/50/60 bonus movementspeed.
    60 seconds cooldown (*with SotM - able to gain 1 charges every 50 seconds up to 2 charges and increases the health of all units under Kahlan Amnell's control by 250).


    Cara - Ganker/Pusher, Agility Melee


    Abilities:

    Break their Spirits - The Mord-Sith uses her Agiel to deal unimaginable pain to the target. After they are broken, they will follow the Mord-Sith's orders as their loyal pet.
    Channeled, Stuns the target for the duration and either deals damage to it at the end if it's a non-controlable unit or puts the target under the Mord Sith's control for 90 seconds.
    Damage based on time channeled, maximum of 170/255/340/425 physical damage dealt. Channels for up to 3 seconds.

    Mord-Sith's Loyalty - Cara would do anthing to protect those she serves, as any real Mord-Sith would do. The more allies are around her, the more fircely she fights.
    Gains +4/6/8/10 damage for every nearby hero and +2/3/4/5 damage for every nearby non-hero unit. Maximum of 70 bonus damage. If Cara reaches 35 or more bonus damage her attacks will reduce the targets armor by 1/2/3/4.


    Zeddicus Zu'l Zorandor

    Abilities:

    Light Web - The First Wizard places a Light Web at target location. Enemies entering the area will trigger it, causing it to detonate in a large explosion of light.
    Vector Targeted - Place a Light Web at target location. Enemies coming into contact with it will cause it to explode after 0.75 seconds, dealing 90/180/270/360 damage and stunning them for 1/1.5/2/2.5 seconds.

    First Wizard's Trickery - The First Wizard tricks enemy eyes that try to look upon him or those around him, making them practically invisible.
    Turns all allies in a 900 AoE invisible for 10/15/20 seconds and grants them a bonus 50/60/70 movementspeed.


    Now obviously these heroes are only half finished, but I hope you can see what I'm getting at. I chose a strategy, and then designed heroes that complement that strategy and each other.
    Considering I only came up with those while driving home from work today, I'm sure you can come up with something more creative for the contest.

    Also note that I did put all heroes in the same thread - you don't have to do that. You can create a separate thread for each of your heroes, but you have to create ONE thread with [DTC-1] in the title where you explain your line-up and link to all your heroes.

    Ok, so we make 1 thread that has all heroes in it, or do the heroes have to have their own separate threads?
    My goal is for at least one of my heroes to be ported into HoN! Help my cause and get S2 to see these!

    They can have their separate threads (makes it easier to give feedback to single heroes too), but you have to somehow either link or simply put your heroes into your summary thread.
