Who is the worst hero in the game?

Hm, anyone can be usefull, but some of them just doing jobs not as good as others and some are very situational.

i completely disagree with some posts here like , , , they can be incredibly strong but the most guys cant play them. scout has free counterward, runecontrol, easy escape, burst, lategame scaling % ultimate and a godamn hardcore aoe silence that is most time underused.
Empath can not be focused, is extremely item undependet and buffs carry and ALL Lanes with aura hard early on + a well placed wall can rape clashes.
Ophelia can completely destroy the top lane at lvl2 with a good sololaner while getting hardcorefarm in the jungle and push towers like a baws (just learn to micro the creepskills, than shes nearly op).
Salforis drops later in the game, but he has very strong lane presence and is a nice counter to healing based carrys and teams.

in the very situational category i would say is the best example. I dont like the carry builds on him with focus on Kuldras. Just dont blindpick him, run him against combobased teams and lanes that cant easybrake ur curse, than build him tanky/supportive and counter ALOT heroes just with ur presence.
He can be completely useless and devastating (and remaked soon).

category of doing jobs that others do just better:

short range, easy gank, flashfarm not uniqu anymore
y, the singletargetnuke is nice but others can that 2 and are not melee, without farm ability, luck dependet and completey ****ed after the carry got shrunken.
can be a nice ganker and pretty cool with aoe cc like but both stun and ulti are dodgeable and the worst: No superior magic ult with to high cd for what it brings
S2 dont like the gameplay this hero was made for: Farming untill he rapes the game on his own. So they nerfed him hard and now hes a shadow of him self crying for a remake.
it hurts me to say that, cause i like him, but most time hes not a good pick i think. the skillrange is too low, no good cc, and hes very hungry for mana and life/defense. At all not a good support, but somtimes nice with carry stile against tanky teams.
im not sure about her, i must say i dont like playing against her especially if shes solo. But later on i think there are alot carrys doing a better job.
also not sure here. His ult can be annoying, but i think his stun isnt very good, the range of autoattacks is crap and the mines are more like a joke in my view.
90% i saw people playing him was just fail, and 10% was like "and why not picking pesti or legio or some other pk-stun-hero?" mybe im totally wrong here... i really dont know

Moraxus is about as useful as Pestilence, he just does the same job a bit differently. If you want more AoE burst and a sturdier tank with low cooldown skills you get Moraxus. If you want better chasing, mobility, carry potential and swarm for reveal/-armor you get Pesti. Moraxus can also easily double as 'melee support' while Pesti would be completely screwed in that role.

Hes just REALLY bad.
Also has lowest % games won of all heroes, IIRC it was 40.1% of his games won.

I kinda think that when a hero who has wards as one of their abilities cries about wanting the map warded it's within one's rights to tell him "You do it".

im kinda suprised that so many of u consider as so bad. I didnt played him very often yet but also in the games i lost i had nice stats and he felt very solid to me.
I really like the different possible playstiles with him. He has ok burst and chasing ability, a lack of cc ofc too, but the best is his toughness around early mid if u went str form. And after u get an Insanitarius hes really hard hitting.
But best damage over all is in intform, with many nice items u could go to boost it.

the only thing i really dont like is the fact that the agi form is the initiatorspell, so its mosttime better to instant switch to another form. Because of that in the End it makes the most sense to went int for dmg or str for more toughness. I wish the agi form gets more flexible and viable at all, cause mybe hes the only agi carry that isnt played with agi.

SB needs too much farm and he has no real killing skills.
Yes he can carry, but other carries are much easier to do the things that SB can do.

I would say Arachna is the worst hero. Of course she can carry a game but Arachna is easy to kill no matter what. The skills she has now don't compare to the skills present in the game anymore.

And Gravekeeper is pretty useless. He's pretty easy but other heroes fulfill his role so much better. And his ult is pretty worthless most of the time. It's only good when you're aiming for 1 hero.

The above are the most useless in conditions. The below are to explain reasons for why this hero and that AREN'T trash dump.

Some people say is useless, but he produces so much damage the ignoring this "useless" hero in a team-fight will result in getting your ass handed to you.

is a very powerful hero if you can keep Drink up without having to do it in the middle of a team fight (which usually results in a team-mate dying or a crucial target getting away whilst your Drinking).

seems useless because shes squishy. Don't get me wrong she IS squishy but the fact that she has a chain stun that can last up to about 4 seconds WITHOUT the need to channel the sun. That is ALMOST like having an electrician grip the entire enemy team.

The only USELESS hero right now is Shadowblade. All the others have their strengths and weaknesses. Shadowblade can carry hard later with int form, but he's such a **** farmer it's not worth the try at all.

TBH, I think the people here that say scout is good is only having a counter-reaction to the scout haters. Its a natural human phenomenon to do those things for various reasons. We get that scout has good map awareness abilities, but dont forget that he is a MELEE carry who relies on invisible to get up close to the other team. The problem is that if the other team has anti invisible, he loses that capability and loses mobility that heavily relies on his invisible. The fact that he cant approach a serious enemy team without his ass getting torn apart (unlike other melee carries) is the real reason he sucks, not because of the scout players.

I am of the belief that there are no truly bad heroes right now (even though some worse than others), but some heroes are perceived as such because of their issues with properly incorporating some heroes into a line up. A hero like in an optimal situation is by no means weak, it is just that people in Matchmaking under utilize him and force him into weird lanes and playstyles that he really isn't designed for.

A hero that is very close to useless unless in very specific situations though is , with horrible design written all over him. He can be godly, but only facing specific heroes. Otherwise he is plain out crap in any way possible.

Generally if you look at the hero usage stats that will tell you the heros that rarely get played. Ophelia is considered by many to be the worst hero in the game because she is incredibly difficult to use also picking Lord Salforis can tend to get you yelled at by your team because he is notoriously useless but really a hero's useful is based on the skill level behind the person using it and whether a counter is on the other team.

ophelia is picked up very often by people who actually know how to play the game, she is often 1st pick/ban in comp play. navi(best dota 2 clan) run ophelia/chen in dota2 every game if chen isnt banned
