I liked them both. Amy had a smooth voice and a big band sound that I enjoyed and Whitney had power in her voice that's one in a million. Drugs had their hold in both of their lives though, introduced primarily through their lovers if I'm not mistaken. Tragic.

I don't get the butthurt from people who are sick of people whining about someone's death. Of course it is a big deal when media figures die because often times the people have shaped entertainment.

Bloodaxe: she wasn't worth a penny more than your father, she did however spread something through her voice to a lot of people and she is known by way more people than your father.

That is why people make a "big deal" out of it. I agree that especially with such a cocaine infested scum, they should just bury her and be rid of it.

Amy didn't even have any illegal drugs in her system. They still don't know what killed her, the last I heard. Yes, she did have a drug problem in the past. But that was not what killed her.
