A thought occured to me...
It seems like the Russian players, well in some cases, are bullied in Heroes of Newerth by some members of the community.
A viewer said it best by saying "Russians are the US's Brazilians in the eyes of the Europeans"
That bothers me, I am a Russian/American. Maybe there is some question that I could answer to some people that might well, explain something about Russia to them, that they do not understand because naturally, people when they do not understand something or someone, they naturally, flag that person or something as "Negative", like people who flag other people by calling them a creep, when they do not know anything about that person and see some kind of fear.
Maybe, this can be a positive thread, for people to ask questions, discuss some aspects about Russian players in a positive way. Russia as a country has a lot of problems, just understand that at some point in Russia not TOO LONG ago, the general population was Oblivious to the whole existence of the world, they did not have the ability to share and to meet other people from the world, like the way people in Europe can travel the whole continent and visit many countries, many cultures in a short amount of time, or like in the US, where I essentially have met or have spoken to at least a 1 person from at least 50% of all countries in the world.
I am a Russian/American, ask away, be gentle.
I live in the NYC Metropolitan area, I look at the skyscrapers of NYC almost every day. I own property in Russia. I am 26 years old. It is my responsibility as a Russian/American to do this, or at least TRY!

What good do you honestly think could come from this?
People get upset when they can't understand other players on their team. It is that simple.
I can't help but find it ironic that you have a "Troll Face" icon, but you're looking for serious and mature discussion on here about Russian HoN players.
GL Oleg
It's not about your country, it's mostly about the attitude and the name russian players got. I played with many russians in and after the beta and I disliked it for a reason. Nearly zero communication, writing with boxes, eccessive rage over voice chat. Best moment that is still in my memory from the beta: afk farming zephyr, no communication at all, coming at 15 min from the jungle and writing "got life tube now".
Anyways, here my question: do you think russian players enjoy playing with others then their land mates?
Dota2 has A LOT of russian & eastern european players now-days. and they sure live up to their dota skills. That being said many russian people are cool people irl.
@ColddeviL Awareness
@Thrasymachus It was an inside joke with some of my friends. 3 from Finland, 1 from UK but living in the Netherlands now
@spamilator I think some might and WANT TO. They want to meet other people from around the world by playing video games. It is something very hard to explain. I think most want to play with themselves, just human nature, we want to be with like minded individuals (I.E. Russian players playing with Russian players) It makes it not fair, for the players who want to play with others from Europe/NA. From what I am told, the Russian players are playing HoN via Garena now too, because of the bad servers for the russian players and again not finding russian players to play with.
@srymissclick they are cool! thank you! everyone is cool from every country, but there are always a few spoiled bad apples that ruin it for others!

@ LonelyKing well thanks, but I think my "Clan name" SS4F Set Sail 4 Fail does not help either but, I try not to take life too seriously. Seems a bit more enjoyable, but yeah one can argue I am a troll :/

The way you see being Brazillian as an insult is the same way we see being Russian as an insult.
The average Russian Dota player is absolutely awful. I don't blame the individual- if you grow up around s*** it's not surpising if you become s*** too.
No idea why you guys are adamant VS is a carry.
Why is Andrei Arshavin ****ing horrendous.

@Rope' It is not the way I see it, but someone pointed it out to me for an example. When HoN got started, there was a group of people who played and spoke a foreign language and some people go too "emotional" over that. Quite hateful to say that "if you grow up as **** you become ****"
You know, no other country that I known of had this idea that russian children should go out into the world at a young age and do good positive things for people, like help an elderly woman by helping her cross the street, or building little homes for birds. Yes, in the US you had that idea, but not on a social level, the way they had it, and yes it is attributed from Communism, but is that such a bad thing to teach children? Regardless of the reason, to teach people that sometimes you do things and you do not get paid for it, and sometimes no one says thank you, but it is the right thing to do.
I am not sure who or what adamant is, or vs carry? You lost me there.
@Baarak what are you talking about?

“You promised me Scout,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
Scout replied,
“The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”
stupid people are awful at everything. russian/brazilian american or japanese.
stupid in another language is still stupid.
@hax your signature is brilliant, did you write that yourself?
@legopirate we might mistakes from time to time, some people more then others, and some less then others, but no one is ever truelly stupid, the way you put it so. I see your point, well taken. "those" people are not stupid but are just simply misinformed. I think at least.

Just one of those threads with a name you MUST click
It's a passage from a biblical poem called footprints in the sand. Well, almost.
@Hax well it is pretty cool, especially with the whole idea of the Scout added to it
@LegoPirate When a baby vomits on your shirt because babies do that, it does not mean that it is a stupid person.
