I just work with what the resouces0 file gives me. Sometimes it a cast file. Sometimes it's a ability grunt file. I just listen to them and decide if that's the sound I'm looking to change.
Happy belated birthday! Also, I will love you forever if you make a sound mod of the Team Fortress 2 Engineer for Engineer. :-)
Ok Im totally dling the spartan one lol
U?

Can you think of something?
Macho Man Hammerstorm is still the best.
I'm sorry, but all these new voices are becoming less and less fitting.
all i gotta say him is your stuff is amazing and sorry bout dropping macho but grounds keeper willy is just awesome psyched to see anything else you do
Is it possible to change all the voices to a single one without having to dl each individual file for every hero?
Edit: Let me be a little more clear, ie. if you were to try to put Leonidas voice on every HoN hero.
Ps. I downloaded the full package, everything works great except sand wraiths voice is still on there, with Mort coming in only once in a while. Not sure if its just an error on my end or anything.

OK so I went through all the sounds and had to uninstall almost all of them. The only sound mods I now keep on are:
Machoman Hammerstorm
Cookiemonster Devourer
Wicked Witch Hag
Bender Electrician
Dr. Zoidberg Kraken (The best)
Homer Pebbles
Quagmire Magebane
There were a few soundbytes I questioned and a couple that were of poor quality/volume, but overall the reason I had to uninstall most of your sound mods is a small oversight and becomes a major problem.
Looking at my favorite sound mod- Zoidberg, I noticed the main reason why it stands out so much. The reason is that gwho gave him more than the standard number of sayings. gwho's sound mod has 9 sayings for move, 9 for attack, and 9 for selection. HiM's sound mods seem to all have just 4 for each. Considering how often players are moving around and attacking this is a huge problem and the main reason people turn hero sounds off.
HiM, I would likely use almost every one of your mods if you just added a few more lines to move and attack. Having 9+ would be ideal (if HoN supports more than 9, all the better), but even 6-7 would be fine.
I can understand some of the voices being hard to get lines for, but you could easily find thousands of usable homer lines. Sound files for the heavy are also very easy to come by. Before you go making more sound mods I think it would be worth your time to just add a few more lines to each of your existing ones as they are all great starts. Nice job so far.

haha thank you. despite its lack of polishing. i really do want to get around to it, but school combined with my laziness is keeping me back a bit. txh for the love ^^
HiM' is and his work were and are an inspiration to all sound modders. ^^
i'd definitely redownload HiM's sound profiles if he added more clips to them

Get around to what? I think the Zoidberg mod is pretty well fleshed out and I don't even know what more there would be to add. I was suggesting that for HiM and all the other mods that just use 4 move/select/attack sounds. Though I guess more good Zoidberg sounds would be welcome if the engine even cycles through more than 9.
gwho confirms that you can have more than 9 sounds per action.

Oh god I lol'd. Had to take an extra coffee break at work to contain myself. This is just pure awesomeness right here.
Thank you so much.
