Lol it says answered next to the title yet, it is not answered
Hey Im looking for some info on MMR mechanics. Can any one point me in the right direciton for the info or explain the following:
I noticed I was vote kicked from a game and lost 10 points of MMR?
Im wondering if this is a bug because it equivilated it to me rage quiting and joining a game right after?
I dont think it is fair if it is set up like that, I understand losing 10MMR if i rage quit and instantly join a new game but not if I was kicked. There are too many kick happy people in this game who think its funny and would rather not have a good game.

Ok I have another bug, or is this supposed to happen. Match 81559690, I lost double MMR becuase of a disconnect? My internet crashed and I couldnt get back in time. How does this make mechanism work?

If you are kicked via the normal method (9/9), you receive no leaver percentage and are still win/lose rating if your team wins or loses.
If you are kicked for being AFK (4/4), then you receive leaver percentage and lose double rating, just like if you left and were terminated.

If you indeed lost 10 mmr in one game, make sure that you:
-are not in your first games on a new account, where MMR are quickly gained/lost (does this apply to stat resets as well?)
-didn't match up against an entire team with MMR several hundreds lower than your own team.
Otherwise I'd say it's a bug.
You shouldn't lose more MMR for a 9-vote kick. You lose the same as you would, if they'd let you finish the game.
If you would be so kind to double check your game stats, you can see exact MMR lost for that round. Post match ID and MMR lost in Bug reports.

suture, not possible becuase when i click that match id it says -10.xx
I have 1800 games played, Ill hunt down the match ID in roughly 20 minutes. It was a 9 vote kick, and I loss 10 mmr. And my assumption is it becuase i joined a game right after so i was punished as a rage quiter.
ID is 78057761
In the begining it said i was going to lose or gain +/- 5 MMR, at the recap it says I lost 9.87. It was an 8 Man vote kicked at 13 minutes (some other guy disconnected)

Closing. Any mmr gain/loss that varies from this is either a glitch or bug or what have you and not for mechanics.
