Can't join any games, Please help

I am able to login and chat but when I click public games the menu drops down and no games are found. After clicking refresh, I can see the list of games. After trying to join a game, the load bar pops up but nothing starts loading and after a few secs I get the message "No Response from Server". Same thing with matchmaking. After reading the wiki I thought it was my linksys router, but after disabling the firewall on the router it still didn't work. I then proceeded to disable my Norton's firewall and antivirus, and no luck. After this I disconnected my Internet from the router, put it straight into my computer, and reset my modem. Same problem still persists. Then tried disabling my Norton again and also my windows firewall, and no luck. I've also unistalled and reinstalled but that didn't change anything. No clue what else to do, and I haven't been able to play for awhile now. So it really sucks. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Edit: After reading the Elementary FAQ, I saw something about de-bugging internet connection and a link to a site that I can display the results of an internet test they run. Here's that info: http://n3.netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu...a776-4251-8239

After reading further into the forum at others posts, I tried pinging with "ping -l 1300 -n 5000 masterserver.hon.s2games.com" and my TTL=47. I'm not sure if this ping never ends, but I hadn't sat through it all. I did for awhile but it never ended? I believe the only thing needed from that was the TTL thing?

Also I did the traceroute thing with those results here: http://pastebin.com/wSVmvfAs

Has HoN ever worked on your computer? Do you have Norton 360? What changed from when HoN did work on your computer to when it didn't?

If you have plugged directly into your ISP provided modem and shut off your Windows Firewall as well as disabled your Norton Firewall, then there is probably another part of Norton blocking the outgoing traffic.

If you have the original Norton install CDs, I suggest uninstalling Norton (especially if its Norton 360), disabling your Windows Firewall, and trying to join a game.

Do you have any other type of internet security other than Norton and your Windows Firewall? Zone alarm, AVG, etc?

Yes HoN has worked on this computer. I do have Norton 360 and no other internet security. Nothing changed on my end, this happened like 4-5 months ago(maybe after a patch, not sure). I just quit playing after I couldn't solve it and figured it would fix itself with further patches etc. I've tried connecting every once in a while, but same problem. I just decided to go through the forums for help.

Is that my only option for me to play, to delete my protection? Did nothing come up with any of the tests I did^ ?

Well your Netalzyr shows some funky DNS stuff and some blocked traffic normally attributed to an antivirus. I'm not saying you can only play by removing your antivirus, but part of the troubleshooting process is nailing down exactly what is causing the issue. By eliminating possibilities (such as your antivirus) we find out if that is the culprit, if not we move on, but if it is then I can walk you through how to make exceptions to Hon through your N360 firewall. Unfortunately you have to uninstall N360 for us to find this out. If you are hesitant to do this or don't have your original install cds/product key then we can continue as if it isn't the problem, but there are only so many possibilities it can be when it comes to networking.
