PlagueRider Should I be enjoying Plaque Rider this much?

He is by my favorite Hero so far, as well as the one with my highest K/D ratio. The only thing that bothers is that I only seem to utilize 2 of his 4 spells most of the time. I just think it's odd that I'm good at this low difficulty hero.

Is there any sorts of secrets that I'm missing with him?

    Not at all :P

    Few tidbits
-Level extinguish at 1 unless you want to FB. Deny a melee creep as soon as it spawns. You could deny one for your mid to give him an edge.
-Use your shield as much as possible midgame/lategame. That means you should pretty much be constantly spamming it on you and your initiators.
-Don't max your extinguish before shield. You need 2 points really - maybe up to 3 if you're having a rough time, but shield > level 4 extinguish.

Everything else is pretty much common sense imo - don't ult near creeps. Try to nuke when they're closer together. etc

Is there any reason why PR is a one 'star' difficulty anyway?

He's absurdly easy to play and can be a huge impact on a game (in a positive way) even if the player has little to no understanding of the game. Plus none of his skills are skillshots or require anything more than a quick guess as to where the opposing creepwave is.

I find him fun too. Played him once today in a no stats, and even though we lost badly, the few kills I had made the game fun. :3

I like him too. Only played him once, and that time I had to pretty much save my ultimate to interrupt the opposing electrician because my team didn't have much CC.

You should make sure you always maintain proper dental hygiene when playing that hero.

If you are denying to get more mana then deny a melee creep. If you are denying to pull the lane back then deny a ranged creep as they do more damage.

What do you think about Luna Moth Monarch? or maybe you would prefer to have Possessed Legionnaire?
Or do you want to add Magic Armour to the Detailed Hero List?

This has been debated a lot, but melee creeps survive for longer, it is common practice to block the melee creeps so that the range creep is in front and dies first anyway.
