    [exe11] Kiraa, the defender of unholy electricity



    In the far eastern lands of newerth, lies an undiscovered landmass. Some say that
    even Sol himself does not know anything about it. Storm Channelers, fierce and wise,
    have hidden themselves from any threat in now over 9000 years, yet the Hellbourne
    have managed to, at last, breach the walls into their kingdom. All have been slain,
    but one. Kiraa was taken as the only captive, and held away from any contact to the
    outside world. With torture and corruption, they managed to take over her body
    and mind. Now, she is ready for battle. The Hellbourne grants her place and power
    to destroy anything in her way. Using strong lighting, and a newly
    made sword, she is truely a deadly threat for the Legion.





    She uses the end of her one-handed sword to shoot out purply-green colored electrical cores.
    The attack animation is very strong, just about the same as bombardiers.




    Range: 550 units.
    Base Damage: 21 - 25 damage.
    Base Strength: 19.
    Base Agility: 19.
    Base Intelligence: 23.
    Strength Gain: 1.6.
    Agility Gain: 1.2.
    Intelligence Gain: 2.5.
    Armor: 2.56.
    Movement Speed: 305.




    Hello! I present you my personal hero: Kiraa, the unholy guardian of electricity.
    Hero description:

    Kiraa, the master of channeling spells, is by far a OP hero if the enemy doesnt have any stuns. Every skill requires great positioning.

    Kiraa's greatest and by far most cripling weakness is the ability of other heroes to nullify 2 of her nukes. Stuns and ministuns cripple her so much, that it almostly isnt worth picking her up when the enemy has . But if she manages to get a :Shrunken Head: before the enemies become too beefy, your sight of dominating the game becomes greatly increased. And remember, she must be build as someone who can nuke others very quickly. Her ulti keeps her alive long enough when used correctly, and should allow her to keep using spells even after death.

    Electro Rip (Q)

    Skill description: Lined channeling stun.

    When targetted on the ground, Kiraa begins to channel. She can always choose to press Q again, to end the channeling before finished. When done channeling, she sends out a rip in space itself, moving from the location it was placed directly to Kiraa, ignoring any terrain moving on.

    Kiraa shannels a rip in the air, which can be fired at any time. Damage increases for every second channeled, but will automatically trigger itself after 3 seconds. Enemies will take 90 / 150 / 210 / 270 magic damage and 30 additional magic damage for every second channeled. It will also stun the enemies hit by the stun by 1 second and an additional 0.2 / 0.3 / 0.4 / 0.5 seconds for every second channeled. Enemies will be able to see the rip where it has been placed 1 second after it has been placed, taken that they have cision of the area where it has been placed.

    Mana cost: 120 mana.
    Cooldown: 15 / 13 / 11 / 9 seconds (cooldown will begin when the projectile is laid down, not when it is fired).
    Range: 800 units.



    Brain Shock

    Skill description: Offensive opening DoT.

    Kiraa uses her electric powers to shock an enemy and all around it, reducing their defences in the process and making them take some damage over time.

    Deals an instant 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 magic damage to enemies around the target, and inflicts the target with a 7 second debuff that reduces magic armor by 0 / 1 / 2 / 3, and additionally deals 5 / 15 / 25 / 35 magic damage every second to the initial target. Lasts 5 seconds.

    Mana cost: 75 mana.
    Cooldown: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 seconds.
    Range: 500 units.



    Vortex mastery

    Skill description: Passive skill booster and damage amplifyer.

    Kiraa increases her effectiveness in moving whilst using spells, making her able to move while channeling, but reduces her movement speed whilst channeling by 90% / 75% / 60% / 45%. She can also use other spells while channeling, auto attack and items.
    This skill also makes Kiraa apply "Vortex" to enemies when auto attacking or using spells. For every stack on the enemy, they take 0.75% / 1% / 1.25% / 1.5% more damage from Kiraa.

    Electro rip applies 3 stacks + 1 stack for every second channeled.
    Brain shock applies 2 stacks on the initial blast, and 1 stack every 1.66 seconds.
    Electric overtake applies 2 stacks for every wave of damage.
    Auto attacks each apply 1 stack.



    Electrical Ray

    Skill description: Global channeled AoE nuke.

    Kiraa creates a rift in reality that after channeled, deals a massive amount of damage in a spot of her desire. Being able to cast this anywhere makes it an extremely strong attack.

    After a 2 second channel, Kiraa releases a devasting shockwave on the targeted location that deals 350 / 550 / 750 magic damage.

    Mana cost: 150 / 200 / 250
    Cooldown: 70 seconds.
    Range: Global.
    Radius: 200 units.

    This spell has a Staff of the Master effect. When purchased, this spell will get renamed to Electrical Doomsday. Instead only firing off the initial beam, 5 beams around the initial beam with a 100 units radius will shower down around the initial beam, dealing 200 / 300 / 400 magic damage. The 5 beams will be symmetrical around the initial beam and will appear after one second of the initial beam.


    Quick notes:
    Her auto attacks should be amazing for farming and last hitting, that i want. All her spells are very unreliable, so a plus she must have.

    Spell 1: Remember, this spell is a one point wonder, unless you actally want to kill the enemy fast. I do see it is a rip-off of a LoL hero, which i cannot remember. But it was neccesary, and i like the ability.

    Spell 2: I wanted to make one ability to be able to hit without having to risk the risk of not hitting, and at the same time helping the team. Basic spell, still unique IMO.

    Spell 3: Now this is what makes her an great hero. Yes, forced synergy between 1 and 3. Is that bad? No. Any non griefer will put points in them both at least once. In my eyes, very strong passive, possibly the strongest passives in the game, making up for most of Kiraa's weaknesses.

    Spell 4: Makes her to what i personally want, a long ranged nuker. May sound alot like Artesia, but Artesia on the other hand wants to stay inside a teamfight.

    Dev note: Full channeling hero, i copy and pasted it from my noteblock when i saw that a new exercise is going on with channeling heroes. I am really happy about the results here, i think its a pretty strong hero. Can be countered easily, if not countered becomes a great threat. What do you guys think?

    I don't like the passive though. It defeats the purpose of making a spell channeling.

    You think removing the channel passive is good? I tried thinking myself how useless she would be then, and it has a pretty high uselessness rate. Also because of the ult, would be a bit stupid to just stand there and try to get enemies to run right into her.

    You might want to redo the passive and the ult. Abilities that require you to die are generally a bad idea.

    I agree with being said about passive and ult.

    Furthermore i like the first skill.....it reminds me a bit of conjurer. How do you calculate the amount of slow that applies with X seconds of channeling? I honestly wouldn't know that. If i were you, i'd let a solid amount of % slowed, but the duration then depends on your channeling time, For example: If you channeled the spell 2 seconds, the slow will stay for 2 seconds.

    But that's entirely up to you

    Well, basically i didnt want the ult to require you to die, just to be a very strong ult that would make enemies stop attacking her for the duration. Guess i should make some changes then. But. Is it really that good to have a pure "stand-there-and-do-nothing-but-channel"-hero?

    If its abilities are strong or provide a special utility (such as extreme range or greater cc capability), while also providing a unique dynamic that tends to improve the strategic depth of the game, then yes.

    We haven't had any extreme range/siege style heroes (other than FB... but he's a phys. carry), unfortunately. /sigh

    Im gonna try to change it just because i sometimes get bored in the future. I am having a student from france at home atm. so i cant really do anything lol.

    PS: Can a mod pls change the AR tag to IR? I chose the wrong one

    Kiraa is a hero that relies on channeling while walking. You can still channel your skills while walking, but with great handicaps. Also, as every hero channels can be interrupted, so it requires great timing on all the abilities to get the full effect out of every skill. [exc11] was based on makig a channel hero. It didnt say that it has to be a stationairy channel hero.

    K, nvm that then, other than that she's cool. Also the non-stationary channel is a nice concept for her skills.
