With the manaregen on nomes wisom removed, I've moved away from it as my first major item and instead focused on getting a Great Arcana instead as early as possible. Nomes is still in my itemlist, but just a bit further down the road.
You have more then 5% EM games, your argument is invalid.
People tend to forget Deadwood as an armor reducing hero.
I guessed you made the list of all heroes with a possible armor reduce in the list of possible allies. Not to mention Deadwood's ulti which does pure physical damage which is excellent for an armor reducing support hero.
Not to mention Deadwood's snares and tree throws you'll probably manage to have a hero constantly slowed along with Demented Shaman's snare.
This said I'd like you to add Deadwood to the list of possible allies.![]()
really decent guide
finally figured out how exactly healing wave works
thx for the hard work![]()
Nerf on greaves wasn't bad at all. In fact if you're a fan of getting puzzlebox I'd rather say it's a buff. I still advocate them for shaman, especially if you're the only person on the team that would get a pair.
And yes general updates are coming to the guide.
What an exceptional guide!
Very detailed without getting too complicated, and the diagrams you made are very helpful- I'll admit, I've been playing HoN for some time and I wasn't 100% sure how his first three skills work until I read your guide
Keep up the great work, I'd love to see other hero guides from you.
I think this needs to be updated for how good striders and Blood chalice are.
Blood chalice basically solves all your mana problems, and striders are cheap and let you do a lot of the things you do, like creep pull and ward, easily and quickly. Good if you spend all your gold on items.
striders cause you to be slower than everybody in combat since your job is to spam your spells as often as they are up. i much prefer phase boots or plated grieves over striders.
I personally would NEVER pick up Void Talisman. It disarms you and lowers your magic immunity to near 0. Althouhg i understand Dsham is a support hero he still needs to be able to provide some dps with his auto attack, hence the use frostwolf's skull. i personally would rather spend that money going towards sacrificial stone or null stone.
Items section is a little off atm (well, just omitting chalice/striders really), it will be updated soonish.
chalice is a must on ds. if there was ever a way to give complete item independence with one item. its chalice on ds.
I notice you haven't explained the interaction of Arcane Hide with other similar skills, ie:
- Accursed's Fire Shield
- Electrician's Electric Shield
- Nome's Wisdom Shield
- Chipper's Focus Barrier
- Barrier Idol's Barrier
Any idea how that might affect how you'd use Arcane Hide?

Or are you looking for a place to discuss StarCraft II?
This would be a good place to start -->![]()
hey guys just wondering about ds heal my friend says its more effective when you heal on units that need healing and does more damage that way?
i argue that it doesnt matter the health of the unit healed the damage is the same regardless
any info would help thanks
Well that was how it worked in dota iirc, but that's not the case with demsham. Each jump will do full damage regardless of how much it healed (or didn't heal).
Check out this HCTc inhouse i played. I think i did pretty well considering my hotkeys went ape **** till they paused for me and i had to relog and I haven't been playing. Some nice assists with Tablet Of Command. 16377777

is there any way to prove it because hes still saying that if they are hurt it will do more damage... tho i told him if all 5 heros are in the fountain on full health it would do the same amount of damage as if they were all nearly dead
Tell him he's dumb and can go prove himself wrong in practice mode. If he still doesn't want to believe then whatever, he can continue using healing wave poorly at his own loss.
