When rampage charges u, just before he hits u, press r ;D this is very useful for counter ganking and running away from rampage. just found this out yesterday hope this helps.
Well, rampage can take a good hit. Once that stun in the unti of yours is done, you can bet his horned strike will start his "rampage". Late game, nomad can't really do much against ramp. 1vs1-wise in a perfect world that is.
btw Null Stone ****s Ramp over in most cases.
? if he charged from a distance he is magic immune and nomads ult does nothing
Ok. So if you leave a game, you are sent an AIDS needle. Additionally, you get +1 disconnect AND are forced to play as Kongor next game. You can't leave his lair, except when a rune spawns. You must run directly to the rune (still as Kongor) and guard it. If you do not do this, then HoN immediately shuts down and formats your hard drive and injects you with the AIDS needle.
Doesn't the immunity end briefly before the charge strikes?
But I would say, if you see rampage charging you, then use your Q shortly before he hits you. Sure, you will still be visible and you take the initial charge damage, but he can't chain you. Then send the illusion and run away.
I'm fairly certain that the immunity ends the moment after, however nomads ult might be superior magic, which would allow it to pierce ramp's magic immunity. It will nullify the spell though, allowing you to run away without being stunned from the charge. As for the chain, a good ramp will still pull it off, since there is a small fade time on your sandstorm.
Personally I suggest you use the fact that early game nomad is one of the faster/more elusive heroes to get hits on rampage without him hitting you back, and then late game try to focus more on squishier heroes in fights. Also a null stone is extremely useful against ramp, and is even more useful if some of his teammates have single targets as well.
Also just a note here that ramp is one of the strongest 1v1 heroes in the game, as late game a well built and played ramp can have over 11 seconds of permanent single target disabling, allowing him to rack up massive amounts of damage. Luckily HoN is a team game, however, meaning that even if ramp is great 1v1 that doesn't mean he will win in-game.
