PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE VOTING. THERE HAVE BEEN DOWN VOTES DUE TO MISUNDERSTANDING AND WRONG ASSUMPTIONS.
Background:
Most of us play no stat games from time to time. Beginners use it to learn the game. Casual players use it try a crazy build or simply unwind with less stress. Unfortunately, since leaves are not recorded in no-stat games, there is a quitter in over 90% of no-stat games (out of my last 20 no-stat games, only 1 finished with all 10 players still in game).
Suggestion:
If the "NO LEAVER" option is selected for a no-stat game, leaves should still be recorded and added to your permanent record. Everything else (wins, losser, KDR, wards, etc) will still not be recorded.
If the "NO LEAVER" option is not active, leaves will not be recorded.
IF THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE YOU MAY LEAVE THE GAME, FOR ANY REASON, SIMPLY FIND A NO-STAT GAME WITHOUT "NO LEAVER" ACTIVATED.
Those of us who do not want the stress or consequences of a stat game still deserve the opportunity to have a full game.
How Leaves Would be Recorded:
Generic Clarifications:
-Only the "no leavers" advanced game mode would work. This does not apply to games with "NO LEAVERS" in the game title.
-Players who are vote-kicked by both teams do not get a leave (feeding/learning is part of no-stats)
-Players who are vote-kicked by their team because of AFK announcement should get a leave.
-These games can quickly be identified and filtered by the "no leaver" yellow smiley-face icon on the game list.
