I've noticed that I will often miss that a Scout is targetting me with his ult because as most people do I keep the health and mana bars locked on at all times. Are the devs eventually going to move indicators that appear above your head up a few lines as well as the microphone icon that appears when someone/you talk? If they're not going to I'd like to request a modder to see if they could manage it.
I'd propose for it to work such that you have your hp/mana bar over your head, then a row where it shows indicators such as Scout's ult or Shield Breaker's debuff side by side and then possibly a row above that where your microphone appears. I've had a few times recently where my little microphone icon was hidden and I couldn't tell if I was actually getting through or not. If people can agree that three rows is too many I'd say put the mic indicator and status indicators on the same row above hp/mana. Let me know what you all think. Thanks!

It does bother me, but I'm not sure how to fix it. I'll take a look to see if there's anything obvious.

I looked through the files for the health bars of heroes, and I didn't see anything to do with status indicators. I think this is a built-in thing, and not something mods can change, but I hope someone can prove me wrong on this one.

If you can find the graphic for the 'scout targetting' icon you might be able to resize it to put a bit of alpha under it, so that when it appears it would appear above where the health bars go.Originally Posted by MaxGhost
I was having this problem, but instead of bothering to complain, I just tuaght myself to pay closer attention to my interface.
I'm lazy though
I also play Scout a lot, so it's typically unimportant to me.
