Hey, I am trying to download the new patch 2.5.6, but it stops around 17%, sometimes 26%. there is an animation and the whole log-in screen slides down, only actions available are to quit and the ones on the top panel. Anyone else having this problem? I am running Mac OSX Snow Leopard. Thanks!
My OS and drivers are all up to date, checked that not too long ago.
Ok, I just uploaded my console.log as a zip file. From reading other forums, it appears that quite a few other mac users are also having the same issue where the download begins, but then stops around 22% and the log in screen slides down. HoN is still responsive, but the download just stops.

Go to the directory where you installed HoN. I'm not sure what it is in the Mac, but in windows, the path afterwards is upgrade/update/. Drop the zip in there. Then restart HoN and patch up again.
Thank you! I figured out where to put in on a mac. Open finder, click on applications, right click HoN, then on show package contents. There is a folder titled "update" and i opened that, then "game", then a folder called "resources0.s2z", then "heroes", then dropped that zip into the folder "ra". but now there is another problem, i started HoN, and went to update the patch, this time, it made it to about 89% then stopped. Okay. I've spent some time looking for that zip, but couldn't find it. Either the windows/linux versions do not patch it, or it is called something different or located somewhere else in the patch site.
Having said that, I am sorry that I am unable to help you any further. You may have to wait until the patch link is fixed.
It is unfortunate that the zip could not be found, I will just have hang in there until the patch link is fixed.
