How the Tier system works.
All threads start in main section. Moderators can move threads to Tier 1 or the archives if they think the suggestions is useful or not useful. Any thread that reaches 20 votes with 85% approval is moved to tier 1. Polls cannot negatively effect you. Every month all threads that are more then a month old in tier 1 and tier 2 are moved to the archive. Post here if your suggestion meets the requirements to be moved to tier 1. Learn how to add a poll to your thread here.
Rules
- You must use the search function to see if some one has already posted the same idea
- Your thread does not have to have a poll
- no more than one suggestion per thread
- no suggestions that belong in the shop, items, or hero section
This is section design is subject to change and feedback is welcomed.

Is there no tier 3 like in the other suggestion sections? Also, all suggestions are archived after they are over a month old, too? This just differs from the other sections, so I'm curious.

I don't really feel like tier 3 added any thing in the shop section so i am trying a two tier system here. Yes all posts older then a month will be archived at the start of each month. This is to keep the sections small and easy to look at. The shop section has the same archive after a month as well but i don't plan on doing that with hero drafts or items.

I don't understand this step tbh, why would popular tier 1 threads be moved to archive? Are we supposed to recreate our thread every month and start over again and gain new votes? Or do you just remove inactive threads that are in there for over 1 month?Originally Posted by Drasha
This may be a way to filter out the suggestions that S2 has already seen and wants to implement or disregard. Eventually, the less popular suggestions will be weeded out because their posters will get fed up with posting unsuccessful suggestions.

I guess so, but from my past experience in the section I've noticed that S2 takes a look at these threads sometimes. Most of the times they have better things to do...
Well, at least this time they don't have to sort through a ton of threads and they can actually find new content because they don't have super old threads clogging up the page.

If it gets into tier 1 it will be looked at by some one at s2. If you got into tier 1 and your thread gets archived after a month i don't see any reason to remake it since you know its been looked at.

in theory:
there is a really good discussion going on in a thread (no flame or rage)
every day ppl post very intelligent things, and bring good ideas
the thread will just be archieved, because so says the rule?
but thx for info that stuff in tier1 will be looked at.
still, what if they look at and don't change anything?
i can still remake it then and hope the community is on my side ^^

It would be sweet if:
The author of a suggestion gets some-sort of feedback from a member of S2 on their suggestion when it gets archived from Tier 1.
Something like:
"Yes, that is a good idea"
"We'll consider it"
"Perhaps" (a nice let down).
Just so they know where they stand on the suggestion. So they don't have to wait for eternity for the suggestion to be implemented because they assume S2 are working on applying it.

My thread regarding Jerazaiah spell animations was moved to the Archive folder when it was not a month old. In addition, that thread also now has 20 votes and exceeds the % to be Tier 1. Help please!
