Draw on minimap

Been playing a little DotA 2 and I'm in love with the feature that you can draw stuff on the minimap.


i.e draw an arrow for a push. a smiley face if you want to cheer someone up.


In general the concept of this idea is great imo because you can then easily draw where do push etc etc. I think its a fun way to show people where on minimap they should be instead of the normal ping.

It allows ragers and griefers to cover the minimap much more effeciently than pings previously allowed.
Don't think it's a good idea with the current state of the HoN community.

id love to draw nazisymbols and drawin like crazy all over the map so teammates cant see enemys

Well considering both communities are equally bad and it worked very well on DotA 2. No one bothers to use the function to grief as you would have to constantly draw as the text disappears rather quickly.

It was already implemented during the HoN beta. S2 took it out because of all the grieving that was going on.

I can't remember having this feature? Must've been really early been playing HoN since 5th august 09.

In all seriousness. I can't see this take a good path. Everyone will just annoy you more if they draw it all over the minimap. I like the feature, but it's going to be abused.
