And here I wanted to be taller so I can feel less miniature compared to the 6 footers...

I'm around 187cm and really it's quite nice being slightly taller than average.
... Except when I have to push carts at walmart, because why make the 170 cm guy do physical activity when the cashier is taller than the actual cart pushers...

Sigh. I feel you OP. I am slightly over 1.90m and it's horrible. The only time it's good is when you need to find someone in a crowded area.
To add to your bad points, it sucks being used as a meeting point at festivals and concerts and stuff.

I know how it feels to be tall but I dont see your point. If you are constantly bnaging your head and chin on things its not becouse you are tall, its becouse you are somewhat stupid and badly coordinated if you cant dodge them/remember to duck and not bang your head every day.
You want to be short and I wouldn't mind being a couple of inches taller! I'm 5'8 which is average (for my race) so I suppose I'm satisfied, especially since most girls are shorter than that. It could be worse...you could be 5'3 or something like that. I'd take tall over short any day

This. I'm not as tall as you (192 cm), but all you really have to do is duck more. I constantly duck slightly (or nod my head) every time I walk through doors and other places where there is a risk I hit my head. Sometimes I fail and that sucks, but it's so rare it's no big deal. Almost only positives with being tall, tbh.
anyways short people look stupid midgets. rather a bit taller, more manly with a good posture
also this. not like it should be automatic but Im guessing you didnt grow that tall as an adult so you mustve tried out basketball when you were young and taller than classmates/other kids your age
