Yes
No
I was reading alot of post before and ive seen alot of people ask for a single player mode or story mod. Now as I cannot see these working out to well as the game is more of a deathmatch team play game. I would think though you could make some boss nights and include new boss with new creeps to fight.
I was thinking make it only one life per character and give us waves of creeps leading up to a boss with no creeps on our end. I belive you have enough heals, tanks, dps, and cc to get this accomplished.
Maybe start off with more gold or at lvl 4 to make up not having your own creeps to take hits. I was even thinking you could have a hard mode in which you make all enemy do 1/3 damage and have 1/3 hp but only have it 1 or 3 characters attacking(really depends on how hard bosses are). I would think you should make a different state like psr to keep track of peoples skills as well as give new award to be given. I would think you should only be able to do 1 boss per day or only one boss night in order to keep people in the general death match games.
I think this might be a huge improvement to a game that only has one game play. You might even have people who play this game only for this part as people love to raid and provides different game modes. Let me know what you guys think about this improvement to an already great game!!!

Well if you really think WOW is the only game with raids not like every other MMO out there including FF online. Its a normal expirence in games like these too encounter bosses and have boss fights. The boss fights now in game are way to easy and about lvl 16 any character can solo them. Give us more
But it would be neat if they could incorperate their other savage games into this game as well =P, would be fun to play it with dota heroes lol.
Should rephrase this.
Call it, Survival mode!
Fight in base, see how many waves you can defend until you are overwhelmed! Each wave will be harder, hell even throw a hero in a few waves.
DoW2 is a RTS and they added this mode, and people playing the game shot WAY up.
But, here is the deal, once we get map editing, people will make this themselfs, so why would the dev's make it?
Thanks Vahn
This can be done with the map editor s2 will be releasing. I'm looking forward to a spinoff of impossible bosses with hon graphics and customized engines for crazy hero spells![]()
Well the only thing is it would be cool to have S2 do this becuase they could add new grafics for some of the bosses as well as give us scores and awards. other then that it would be cool to do your own map and add waves to it. Now not sure if they are making it so you can use map editor to make a game were its only 5 and all are on the same team. all these things im not sure about but would like to know a lil more about the map editor.
sorry way too much work for something which is too unrelated to the real gameplay :/ a no from me. If they had ****loads of money and alot of time on their hands it would be funny though, but they dont and i could find like a million things which should be implemented before they start working on stuff like this.
Sorry to bump this but this is just way too funny. PvE in HoN? I wouldn't be surprised if you were one of those players who just jungled the entire goddamn game and didn't help their team at all.
While it's true that other games have "boss fights" this isn't "other games". This is HoN. Where do "boss fights" fit in? Do you get PSR for it? Face the facts - this idea is completely unnecessary for a game that focuses on players versus players.
Personally I'm hoping that during that once released they will include a map editor much like WC3 (if they already have one or have plans to release one don't bite my head off I didn't know) which will allow players to make non official maps such as "Footy", "TD", and many other favorites. Then if someone felt like making a "Boss fight" they could.
Custom maps like this are virtually guaranteed to be a dime a dozen when the mapmaker rolls around

Scout replied, "The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you."~
