okay so im still pretty new and i play alot of nighthound. but since my team always looses(unrelated to me being nighthound) my psr sucks and i cant play in anything more then noob games. however in noob games i find the other team to be total idiots and not do anything to counter stealth then just complain about imba.
this being said anyone know how i can get better because im getting nothing outa the games im playing now.
Play a different hero and read guides.

non em. but that just means they have less money to do **** with so if it was em shouldnt they be better.
edit: drasha the smoke bomb on him is pretty good for team fights. 70% miss and slow
If you aren't carrying your team to victory against these "nubs" then you too are a baddie.
Ways to get better: play useful heroes, work on team synergy, watch pro replays and borrow strats / play style

second part yeah i do that periodically but team strats/synergy does nothing in noob games sadly. if im playing with friends yeah but they just tell me what to do. noob pub=everyones leet.
as for thefirst part im a baddie for not single handed winning?
oh also anyone mind posting some good vids or something?

Your earlier posts give the impression that you are appreciably better than the opposition...
So I said that if you can't win single-handedly with Night Hound (and they aren't countering your invis), you aren't appreciably better.
Team synergy will help in pubs if you communicate with the other players and develop a strategy before the game even starts. Open lines of communication are always a good thing, and my favorite quote "teamwork is overpowered".

The Problem is, assuming your new to this game. means you probably aren't getting tons of kills.
You picked a somewhat carry, Nighthound like it or not is a carry. So when the carry fails to carry, it really cripples the whole team.
Im not saying your like doing bad, but picking a support hero it doesn't matter as much if you get less kills.
just my 2c
mercfh my usual ending is around 13-2-14 and since usually by the 20-30 min mark i can more or less kill anyone by themselves. and uh tree thanks for your advice btw but the thing about noob pubs if you have played them lately you can say hey guys lets push mid ping the map 3 times and 5 mins later people are still doing whatever.
as for the invis a stun works just as well against him but i ment like no wards dust etc... sadly this also includes the scout involved in every noob game
When I first started, I was a swiftblade user, and I did what most of these guys are saying. I wasn't 'good' until recently my k/d went to crap (on a note I LOOOVVVEEE me some nymphora.. so my k/d still aint that great.) but what really helped me get better is knowing what everything did.
I've basically learned all the items and skills to all the heroes, and now I know how to counter almost everything. Now this wont make you pro, but its the best building block. Don't forget the most important thing though, skill. Which no one can give you tips on how to gain skill ;P Just play.
okay then thanks all for the advice but last question. should i farm kd just so i can get into some higher rated games or just hang out at the low games until i just get really good since i doubt i will ever be "pro"
just play a lot of games as different roles (initiator support ganker carry etc) so you can get a feel for what it's like fufilling each role at different stages of the game.
Don't be too concerned with PSR and k/d and such, all you need to make sure is that
- when you make mistakes (and everyone makes mistakes) you identify what you did wrong or could have done better, and improve on them
- see what other people are doing wrong (dont insult them but just identify) and check to make sure you aren't making similar mistakes
- try to play against better people than yourself.
Mid range people aren't going to improve if they repeatedly "stomp on noobs". Usually when you play against players of a higher calibre, you will tend to find that your own game play improves (as you will need to). This is true for many things other than HoN / Gaming.
twk.
To all the people who said that I'd never be able to write a joke about Bukkake. Hah! In your face
okay so i know most the roles and stuff im guessing im around mid ranged but as soon as i try to join a game where people are better then me i get auto kicked for being a noob. low psr and such
you'll find certain games are named "all welcome" etc.
a slight drawback of the psr system is the fact that it's not always 100% accurate as it is influenced by the people you play with.
Depending on what your psr is you may just have to play in noob only games for a little while longer, eventually it should begin to correct (MMR from WoW anyone? =\)

main problem with noob games after the stat reset. not so much anymore but alot of good players went in with group of friends and just pubstomped everyone stat whoring and ****. and therfore my psr dropped from around 1500 to 1000 and its now a ***** to get back up and get back into games where people at least have some strat
=\
avoiding locked teams or no ab in noob games is a must.

yeah i know but still only so many noob games available and if out of the 5 4 are locked and the 5th has afk dumbass host... no choice right?
if your internet is capable you could also host. best bet is to pick a USW server.
this also allows you to kick people who you suspect to be pub stomping.
Other than that theres really not much i can do other than recommend checking out TGM games or the mentor system. Perhaps someone else will be able to post with further ideas/suggestions
