We are aware of the issue with select Windows users not having sound in-game. While we continue to work on this issue, below are a few workarounds that have proved successful for players.

If you have a Windows 7 PC you can adjust the sound in the control panel.
Control panel > Sound > Configure > select Stereo
Another workaround is change your sound quality via control panel.
Control Panel > Sound > Configure > Advanced tab > change quality to 24-bit 44100Hz
