Not trashing Fielding or anything, but he wasn't some sort of wizard. During his developmental stages of HoN the game was less difficult to balance due to it's tiny hero pool. They probably even let some overpowered heroes sit untouched because they planned on releasing more counter heroes. Also who developed original Kraken?

Ahh the sticky difficulty of Relative Balancing.

As for the Kraken Ultimate... I wanna know what happened to it and when one of the designers intends to use it again.
The sign of lost Carcosa appeared in the air, paralyzing us with dread older than the very idea of time.
As we looked on in horror, the unholy sign dissolved into a lone figure, shrouded in yellow.

Interesting that Buro did both and , both of which heavily rely on a single target damaging leap followed by a self-targeted AOE stomp.

The disclaimer at the end of the OP should include a link to another thread where we CAN discuss whether certain designers were good/bad for the game.

Actually, can a mod make something akin to the "Balance Dump" thread but for Mechanics, where we can have a fireside chat about mechanics and hero design without having to resort to General Destruction threads?

Although this is at the Mod's discretion, there is a balance dump thread in balance. Mechanics dump would still be best if kept 'relevant' - my point about going to GD is this is not the place for that discussion; it simply is not welcome here.

    Subjectivity of course.

The only problem I see with going that route is that there will be 1 more sticky cluttering the rest of the stickies

    Fair enough.

Who was responsible for the initial conception of Gravekeeper?

One of his skills is directly taken from a hero DrPeckers designed in Hero Drafts... kinda interesting how minds think alike without almost no contact.

A billion monkeys on a billion typewriters for an infinite time will eventually create Shakespeare. That holds true for skill generation it seems as well.

(Not calling them monkeys or anything )

Yay! Been looking all over for this. Just seems slightly odd in Mechanics, but so long as there is a uniform list.
Has a rubber duck named "Mr. Quackers."

    Rudra || Plaguebringer || Bastion || Castor/Pollux || Arcane Assassin || Smoke

Nomes' heroes are awesome too bad he work somewhere else.
    Two questions.

    1) Who influenced the hero Maliken. Best S2 hero imo and my favourite?

    2) What designer is currently working on a Night and Day hero or rather has some interests in that concept?

Funny to see each creator seems to like his own theme a bit

I'm no so well-known with the developers, but who are currently the 'Hero-creators'?
    ^-^

Pandaroohoo originally designed Draconis, other than that I have no clue for most future HoN heroes.
