Seeing as this might be a common incident, has anyone else seen Puppet Master's voodoo puppet receive the immunity buff from Jereziah's Sol's Blessing? I swear that's just what happened in a game I just played.
Is this working as intended or a bug?
I don't see why this shouldn't work. Jereziah's ultimate gives 9999 armor to himself and allies, so maybe if the puppet didn't get the buff as well, there could be dmg calculation problems.
Edit: Puppet Master's puppet does superior magic damage to the target it was cast on, so the puppet could get Jere's buff so his ulti will indeed save all his teammates from physical dmg. Also when Puppet Master casts puppet on a hero, it most likely puts the puppet on the opposite team, so this would cause Jere's ulti to work on the puppet then.

Nah, the puppet is supposed to be neutral, so it gets stuff like that.
Theres actually plenty of fun things you can do to it. Ophelia can port it back to base, it can be repelled, swapped, silenced, heaps of things. Most probably working as intended

Look for my highlighted text (important information) and grey text (interesting but not required information).
"The Puppet Master imbues the essence of a target enemy in his Puppet. The Puppet can then be attacked by the Puppet Master or any of his allies. The puppet takes increased damage, and transfers damage taken to the target as Magic damage."
"Any damage taken by the Puppet is transferred in full to the target as Superior Magic damage, regardless of the Puppet's remaining health."
This, i noted that Magic is in bold red. When the puppet is being attack, it is no longer a regular physical attack; therefore, it is no longer reduced by the armor of the unit, rather it is reduced by the magic armor of the unit, and will bypass magic immunity.
The Puppet is allied to the enemies team, so this is intended in a weird sort of way. If it's that huge of an issue we can make it immune to this stuff.

No thanks Idejder. I like the idea of a counter being in place![]()

There is so much mis-comprehension in this thread.
Problem is, if you play Puppet master with a Jereziah on your team, and if you both ult, then sol blessing will apply to your puppet, making it basically immune to your attacks... aka useless.
