Nice Work
Not That Great
Too Ambitious...
Quick Link to SinCast. Just in case you feel like reading my psychopathic conversation with myself over a wall of text.
I've finished my work. Recently, I've been working on a site where it would be easy for teams no matter what their skill level could request a shoutcast for their games. Beyond that, I hope that it'll grow into a community and become an extension of HoN's competitive section. Of course, only time will tell if it's actually successful... but I hope it is.
My goals are simple. I want to allow teams of all levels to get casted and increase the amount of casts flowing around the HoN community. This should give an increase to competitive play and increase the competition speed in HoN. Beyond that, the site I've created also will allow clans to request a sub-section for their own clan. This will allow their clan to be displayed on an active site and be more open to the community. It'll also give them a place to converge and talk about what they'll be doing for the future etc. in private forums as well. The forums will also be well-moderated, creating a much more stable atmosphere for these things to happen.
I also do not want to take away from this official site. Many would probably agree that asking for a section similar to what's currently on SinCast would probably be a bit ambitious and likely turned down.
I highly recommend you read this thread on the forum to find out more. It's very short (and slightly insane) so it wont take much time. In fact, if you've read all of this you actually read more than what's on the SinCast thread.
SinCast isn't just for me nor just players/teams. It's also for other shoutcasters as well. With the public request threads, it's easy to get a quick response from any shoutcaster currently on the site as well. I bet that, with a high amount of requests, we will also see some new shoutcasters step up to the plate and pitch in to try and get everything covered.
Overall, I hope for the great success of the site. I'm not sure if it's too ambitious, but that's up for you all to decide. Again, it does not require you to register to view all the forums or request shoutcasts and such. Check it out, see what you think, and go from there.

Sounds like a great idea that requires a lot of work. Hope everything goes as planned, I like watching some good casted games.
If you can get this going, it'll be pretty much awesome. Good job and good luck.
The site is pretty ugly and it's going to get really old for you if you are manually encoding/uploading every shoutcast you do. Otherwise, I think it's a great idea, and I look forward to seeing some of the casts
I would recommend getting a simple shared hosting plan, a domain, and installing phpBB instead of using a free host like darkbb
Doesn't look like it's taking off. Oh well, perhaps in time. I gave it a shot. =/

You should give it some time, I think the concept is great and if you can just get some momentum I think it will work pretty good.
The major problem, I believe, is that only the high level teams want their games casted (or rather, the people who want to watch the games want them casted), and as such there might be a lack of work for you to do. However, you should remember that this is still the beta so in a few months there should be more teams around.
I think it's a good thing to have a shoutcaster that's unaffiliated, as I'm not exactly too fond of major websites taking hold of every match there is an completely deciding what should be casted and what shouldn't.
Either way, good initiative.
Sounds like a great idea, and I support you wholeheartedly sinister.
Let me know if you need a guy to help fraps, edit video etc.
Edit:
Give it time, as more teams start forming and more tourneys are put together youll have a lot more of a demand.
Perhaps start by having people just contact you via the hon forums. And move to your own webspace when the demand goes up.
I'm currently in the works of trying to get some of the stuff I put on the site onto this official forum. Hopefully it'll all work out.
