    new items in comp play

persoanlly i think the skull thing has potential to be pretty strong in heroes like tort, hag, etc

the shroud upgrade doesnt seem as strong, very situational
but double invis with very small fade time seems something that can wreck face in pubs

let's put it this way, if you're playing a semi-carry ( hag, tort ) and you're buying items that decrease your reviving time, then you're doing it wrong...

    why?
its pretty unreasonable to think youre going to not die through the whole game, and 10 seconds on those heros is more crucial than 10 seconds on a hard support ._.

The entire point of cutting back the amount of times you can buyout was to make games shorter, then they introduce an item that basically counteracts that... hm..

the item is good because the stats it gives. The decreased respawn timer is a bonus.

I don't quite understand why you would buy this item and not Basilius in any case...

As for the shroud thing... I don't really see the point.

    completley different functions

    but yeah

10-7-7 its pretty good for 750 gold

Well the skull thing offers an interesting alternative to bracers when you just need some cheap stats.

Genjuro owns its stats are similar to wingbow but u get the active. Just getting the bonus dmg and being able to slow 55% for 6 seconds is great.

Good and relatively cheap stat item for supports, shroud thing is alright I suppose even though shroud is easy to counter in comp play with competent people
If you had it like me and I was in your shoes I'd probably hate on me too.

decreased cooldown on death could also make pushing strats slightly less effective. I could see roaming andro in the future

Noone else feels that the gold could be better spent than on the new dps item? The same amount of gold gets most carries a much better item choice imo

As for the other item, its kind of nice without being game altering.

LOL @ the people that doesn't understand the power of Grave Locket and what heroes to get it on. Let me break it down for you:

1: AMAZING buildup. 200g parts is just something that immediately should attract any support player.
2: AMAZING stats for the price. 10 strength? You normally pay 1000g for an Ogre Axe when you are stomping the other team, having wet dreams of picking up a BKB before the other team concedes. With Grave Locket you get the 10 strength np and the other stats are just a bonus (especially the Agi on a support hero will do wonders for your Effective HP vs physical attacks, as you have such low Agi).
3: Playing support often means that you aren't getting as much XP as you would like. This only means that the reduced respawn-timer will have maximum benefit, as the %-age respawn reduction will always be significant. 10 less seconds on a 90 secs respawn timer is barely noticeable, while when you are a lvl 14 those 10 seconds is like half of your time being dead. Another factor that favors this item on a support, is that you never have the money for buybacks on a support hero.

Its the best support item in the game; get it every game or look like a fool.

EDIT: Oh, damn. Its not 10 str, but 10 int. qq
Then its a pretty bad item, just like Shroud*2.

7str when charged, one more than braclet and two less when not charged for 250 gold and no upgrade option.

Genjuro must be good on nomad. On other heroes - not so much.
But its not like we see nomad played competitively so....

Well hanni buys the shroud item on every hero, so you'll definitely see it in comp play ))

Shroud is good on many heroes - glad for example. But genjuro is worth buying only on some agility carries.

I love how this guys makes a case for it being an amazing item then completley changes his mind because of 3 points in a different category
    lol

its a good item for heroes that pick up INT based items for stats, like when torts pick up tablets and hags pick up talismans

You'd still want tablet with Torturer and you got limited inventory space.
