Me and my buddy been doing this combo since cthu has been released. Whenever we get dumpstered a dat we just start picking this combo and it's like we can't lose( we have lost but by far highest win%) I rush rot evey game followed by post haste my buddy goes for played graves hotbl power supply mystic vest heart build. We are not that great but we own kids twice as good as us with this crap and I still have yet to play a lane feel more comfortable with. Just wondering if anyone else has played this combo and what you think about it I don't follow a ton of competative games but I've seen a few ds cthu games recently just wondering what you guys think about this combo and if you have seen it used by better players.
At that level, you can win a solo lane with Chronos or Sandwraith vs 2 ranged heroes with stuns.
Not really asuming were really 1400 mmr and not under rated it should be even. And we lose to 1300 mmr doing that kind of **** all the time but we get matched up vs 1600 with much better stats than us with this and **** on them all game That may even be why it's do good it's so forgiving we can suck all game and still be winning. And I know we're not good that's why I asked if it was good at higher levels derp
Ds+Balphagore still stronkest lane .
the reason you dont see it as much at higher levels is because if you get a nymph on your team you will usually want to pair her up with an early game nuker (eg. pebbles)
Yea I guess the extra damage from having 2 Nukes is nice though I saw nymph Magmus once. Its definitly not the same combo but in general it's really easy and really strong. Games tend to go like this. We run to lane ge hookems the neutrals bear lane (mm vagabond) while I last hit first wave off creep block in short lane. Then we're both lvl 2 my starting items are the +3 int 2 minors 1 hp potion 1 runes of blight 3 mana potions he gets something with sheild and hp potion no logging hatchet I think 2 totems for his p supply. So we are at 2 while they are still 1 I trade blows with Thier heroes use the runes and setting last hit for him. At level 3 we go for a kill get it more than half the time on first try. If not I mana pot us both ho pot if they fought back and it's another good combo we go again at 4 this almost always kills them by now I've upgraded courier and sent us a river ward. We continue to control lane and by level 5-6 I have my ring and maybe boots and he's got plated greaves p supply. We start to combo spam heroes out of lane and go for push on tower. After this I try to to us in woods behind enemy to gank + push another tower. In general this works wonders and we soon have hotbl / mystic on cthu and I get my post haste ( this I find is broken on nymph for sooooo many reasons better survive ability than any ammont of hp, crazy back door / escape / insta lane swap for farm Ro in tp heroes out to gank etc total map control 500 ms with her buff) after we down all towers in headed for astrolabe abc my own hotbl he heads for heart and we push hard having the unkillable elephant with infinite mana charge into the front lines with our team at a massive gold exp adv to around with complete map control etc. games end in 30 mins usually and the map control is so good we've drug games out to 80 minutes and won with our team getting owned and all famed down 100 thousand gold ..... Anyway it's really fun really easy and better than it looks on paper try it !
