    Gravelocket -> Sac stone

    My proposal is simple, why not have Gravelocket build into the rarely ever seen sacrificial stone? The recipe would have to be looked at and this is just to get some ideas on what that recipe would be but I think it would potentially make sac stone more viable depending on the new build up and end result. I mean, both rely on hero death charges and lower respawn time with said charges.

    Exactly.

    I think S2 intends do this later..
    Nevertheless, it is a logical item build up.

    I agree but disagree at the same time, Although Gravelocket has the same mechanic as Sacrificial stone, It doesn't give the same sort of Stat's as Sacrificial Stone. Therefore, For this Suggestion to be viable. Either one or both item's need to be changed for one to be a progression of the other.
    Who is Captain utility you ask?
    One asian and a chinese cup stuck to a forehead later and this is what you get

    Not really. For eg: in shaman's head dress, the 5 armor from helm of the victim is changed into magic armor. So it is perfectly viable without changing the items themselves. Also +1 to op.

    I thought about that too:

    "The recipe would have to be looked at and this is just to get some ideas on what that recipe would be but I think it would potentially make sac stone more viable depending on the new build up and end result."

    I was thinking removing the sustainer and replacing it with the locket + recipe and add some additional stats but I'm not too sure.

    Well I'm not 100% sure what part of Sac Stone I would replace tbh. You either take out Icon of the Goddess and add some stuff and Icon would never, ever be seen again or you could take out the Sustainer and add like, +10 to each stat with an 800 recipe.

    my vote is to repace the pickled brain as its often the last piece gotten in sac stone, as well as the most obselete component by the time its gotten (1k gold for 250 mana which offers no survivability). This will reduce the overall cost of sac stone also making it more viable and allowing you to build up to it earlier.

    Problem with sac stone now is that its mainly an item that should be gotten by supports, however none of the components can be gotten as starting items. Supports rarely every get to farm up a sac stone, and by the time they do its amost useless.

    ^But then Icon of the goddess will never be seen . I always wanted an active effect heal rather than on death (e.g. combining astrolabe into the recipe somehow to replace the sustainer) but that never really went anywhere, the fact remained that it was just too much farm, despite the easy build up. The thing is if you replace the Icon, you have to put it into something else (like SotM or something) otherwise it becomes completely useless.

    True but it's not like icon is truly used for anything. Most people will get sustainer component and then the other components. I've never seen any1 run around with a icon. Icon is more of a relic from dota where peeps would run around with it until they sAved the 2700 gold to finish sotm

    As stated before, Icon would NEVER be seen, it would become relatively useless. Also, if Sac Stone only granted 150 mana, why not simply go for Behemoth's Heart? For 500 extra you get double the HP and more regen.

    My vote is that the above player doesn't even know what Pickled Brain's stats are and should be ignored....

    I voted yes because I like the idea. What I do not like is the image of increased snowballing (and smurfing) I get in my head. Is it just me?
