Alt Avatar - Midas -> Medusa

Really simple - a Medusa alt for Midas

Q - Throws snakes instead of bottles
W - Could be something like a manticore instead of lions.
E - She disperses into snakes (like Pollywogs death animation)
R - Turns enemies to stone

I think that would fit Midas pretty nicely.

For the looks, her snake hair would be quite important, could look similar to this:

The worst thing about him is that, no matter what he's trying to do, he doesn't even understand what a gorgon (like Medusa) is :/

I mean even Lady Vashj (warcraft) is much closer to the look, considering the important thing about Medusa is snake hair (well, and turning people that look at her to stone).
She doesn't even need a snake's body.

OP never said anything about a "gorgon", mate. But after google imaging it this is what I found:

Medusa IS a gorgon. There only were 3 gorgons in greek mythology, and the best known is Medusa.

While the concept of this is really cool, I do think it's a bit too dramatic a change from the original concept. It's both a sex change, as well as a transformation into a beast, as well as a change of element (gold to stone). It would not just be an alternative avatar, it would pretty much be a completely different hero.

I didn't vote for that reason. It's too good to get a "no", but a bit too different from Midas to get a "yes" :/. I can't decide.

exactly, yes.
it has so cool points, "stoning" someone is same like "golding", those spells a re really fitting, also a greek mythology theme would fit.
too bad it would be too much of a new hero, noobs would die from that
