That graph is displaying false information, if the spot where the arrow pointed at "this is where MMR compression happened" was actually true there'd be a vertical line dropping you to (1500 + MMR_at_that_spot)/2. It looks like your MMR was around ~1822 at that spot, so (1500+1822)/2 = 1661 MMR.
1661 MMR should be right below that point you indicated on the graph.
So you actually climbed up to ~1710 MMR? Maybe that's where you belong in the new MMR system.
I didn't take in to account the actual MMR compression itself, just how mmr was affected when you suddenly had to play with all the bads.
This graph isn't really accurate either, I'm pretty sure there is at least a couple of wins on the "after compression side" but the general trend is that
Compressed to ~1655
Hit 1580 MMR :P.
This is also more regarding SOLO QUEUEING. Only reason I got out from 1580->1630 again is because I paired up with a couple of mates who are good enough to stomp these games even if one of our lanes feeds. But now imagine you are on the receiving end of these "stomping games", it is completely boring and demotivating for the other team, I want people to be able to solo queue and enjoy the game. Anyway I'm sure things weren't that different before the compression too, but right now it is just more prominent.
