    Rampage's Ultimate (Discrepancy)

Alright, so in DotA when you cast your ultimate, you're still able to attack and do other things WHILE the animation is going off and before you teleport to the target.

Not so here. Here you do your little cast animation, and then you're stunned for a second or so until your ultimate goes off.

So, I'm wondering what other players think of this, and if this is a change for the better.

Also, is this even intended to be different than that of Spiritbreaker?

I don't think it's intended; hopefully S2 will see this post & consider buffing it.

Im more inclined to worry about the fact if you disable him during his ultimate it still gets pulled off, it just aint funny.

Well in DotA, Nether Strike would go off no matter what, so long as Spirit Breaker got past the cast point of the spell. Yes, even if he died before the spell lands on the enemy, he'll still get it through.

Well, that's because it's not a channeling spell. When he's standing there it's only because he's stunned, so you're really not even disabling him any more than he already is. Think of it as being similar to Moon Queen's ultimate, only without the self-stun.

    *shakes his head*

Even though this is a game, it still has to follow all those laws of physics. That little critter there ought to have the same mass as the original stampeding rhinoceros and rider.

How'd YOU like to get smacked in the face with a two ton rabbit/sheep/frog/pair-of-chattering-teeth?

Since the two ton rabbit/sheep/frog are much smaller, it would be an equal amount of force applied through a smaller area.

The hitting you when dead part was fixed a while ago, now the only way to stop nether strike is to kill him in less than a second.

    Ah! So awesome!

Will be neat to see just how much this change affects him.

I agree, his charge is practically useless right now.

that means more pressure. Thus easier to break bones and other squishy hard stuff in squishy heroes.

Same with Magmus. If you kill Magmus after his ulti begins to go off, his ulti will still continue at his corpse. Saw a magmus get a triple kill while dead lol.

I think it's ok. Worked for me. They nerfed him as far as seeing invisible heroes while charging, which I actually think is ok. He's too strong if he sees invis ppl IMO.
