hi, u probably don't know me, but i am a great fan your work... so i ask u this question... i want to change the music of my hon so i made a music folder put my favourite songs in it and renamed the files and then put it all in \music\... in resouce_music.s2z (renamed zip) but in game i can only hear one song over and over again!!!! .. please help... ty

Yea, i noticed his attack animations are also wrong. I'll fix him when S2 releases him officially.

@Luna, i appreciate the work you're doing! The reason to why i haven't touched Mandromeda yet is because there seemed to be lots of minor changes, small color changes and such. I just don't have the energy to do anything these days. I was hoping to get a vid of Santa Midas out, but i haven't done ANYTHING at all yet:|

How do I install an .s2z mod?

Move the downloaded file into:

Linux: /home/<username>/HoN/game/

Windows 7: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\

Windows Vista: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\

Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\

Mac:
1. Press Finder
2. Press Applications
3. Right click 'Heroes of Newerth', and press Show containing files
4. Open Game folder
5. Move file here

They should be .s2z. Don't do anything with them, just move them into the /game folder and that's it.

I think you have downloaded the files and save as .zip files. (click "save file as..." and set the name and the file format as resourcesKingRa.zip instead of resourcesKingRa.s2z)

.s2z is a kind of compressing data folder, like .zip and .rar and can open with WinRar. WinRar can open .s2z files just like .zip and .rar

To change the file format, you just edit the file name, change .zip into .s2z

In addition, if you can't change the format because the file format is not shown in the folder (just have resourcesKingRa instead of resourcesKingRa.zip) then go to Folder Options in Control Panel and on the tab View, uncheck the Hide extensions for known file types in Advanced Settings section and the file format will appear and you can change it.(For Windows Users)

This is another way of getting those files to work but I would not recommend it as it will take more memory in your hard drive.

Extract the files out of the compressing folder and keep in them in the "game" folder as the same directory as in the resources (like heroes/andromeda/ability_01/projectile.entity).
The game will automatically read them instead of those same name files in resources0.s2z.
But since the files are not compressed, their memories will be large.

Anybody else have issues with the Geomancer alt? When I play it the animation gets messed up and he starts like falling underground whenever he moves.

I'm pretty sure i fixed that.. Try downloading it again
