Macro Assist

Introduction:
Pretty much Chat Assist, but only more Macros.
Features:
- All Chat Macros (48)
- Two 2 line macros
- Two 3 line macros
- Six 4 line macros
- Thirty Six 5 line macros
- Two 6 line macros
- Team Chat Macros (5)
- One 3 line macro
- One 4 line macro
- Two 5 line macros
- One 6 line macro
- Chat Assist Macro Preservation (4)
- Four 5 line All Chat macros
- If you previously had Chat Assist installed, the previous macros would appear here.
- Macro text is shared with Chat Assist
- Custom Macros
- Each macro supports customization and paste input.
- Bind a key to any macro and it will "drop" all of the lines in chat when you press the key you assigned it to.
- The Macro Repository (below) has a compilation of macros for you to add!
- Randomized 5 line Macro Drop
- There are three groupings (Set 1-3, 4-6, 7-9) for three random drop Hotkeys.
- Enable chosen macros for the respective random macro. Organize accordingly.
- The more macros enabled in the grouping, the faster the drop (lazy programming lol)

Does it also include the option for team chat?
As of version 1.2, there is now a separate section for TeamChat macros, one 3/4/6 line and two 5 lines (total of 5 teamchat macros)Originally Posted by Witchking

a) Fixed the update loop
b) Version.txt removed from honmod
c) Check the OP on how to add all the lines in, most of them can't be added in as defaults. I now added in backwards retrieval of Chat Assist mods, it's obvious where that function is (inside Macro Assist).

a) You have an update loop 1 -> 1.0 -> 1 because there is a "1.0" in your version.txt and a "1" in the .xml
b) You don't have to include the version.txt in the .honmod, just leave it outside and change the values in the .txt and the xml when you update
c) I'm lazy and would prefer basic ASCII makros already inclued in the mod itself.
Could add all lines as default from the "ChatAssist discussion thread"?
Once I update your mod all changes would be lost, thats why I ask.

6 lines macro isnt working... shows just 5 lines :Q
As of version 1.3, there is a separate delay input for 6 line macros. Default is 320 ms between lines. This is due to the chat server flood prevention limit for 1.25s/5 lines.

Updated to version 1.3
- Added a section to the OP on how to add all the macros in with a copypaste to startup.cfg
- Various fixes to improperly linked triggers
- Added variable sharing with Chat Assist to be able to use old macros (if you disable chat assist in ModMan). No triggers are shared! (no conflicts between mods)
- Added in ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (3 lines) as a default macro
- Added in Screen Spam G's (5 lines) as a default macro,
- These 2 are the only new macros without ' or ".

fantastic mod. now I can free up my keys for controlling ophelias minions. (priorities, I know but this mod is great for playing with friends).

i was under the impression that using this could get you banned / in trouble. i say this because i thought the pro 'moonmeander' was known for doing this and was banned or he got in trouble for 'geeg dropping'.
is this safe to use to basically mess with your enemies? im confident you wont get banned for using this in team chat, however. :P

That macro is dependent on the length of your ingame name. It uses /emote before the text (so that hero name doesn't appear).
In mindful moderation, no. The screen flooding G's are pushing it, as it actually occupies the entire chat window.
Could you post that BIG PLAY SIREN macro?
It hasn't been converted into an ingame macro yet.

No idea, but S2 spending their time on banning trolling is a lost cause. There is so much rage and **** talking in this community that it will never go away, ever. S2 needs to just realize this and let it go.
