Dsham+a hero with stun. Won a lane with dsham+magmus yesterday. The clue is being agressive from lvl 3. Having magmus charging in leaves Ra to close to use his meteor even if monarch lands his disable on him. On dsham you gotta max unbreakable as its great both offensivly and defensivly (+ damage. It's ****ing great).
When ra went on us, he pulled aggro from our creeps, magmus got cape, stunned in, I healed and ra was dead.
Jerraziah counters this lane aswell. And rhaps to some extent(ministuns+her heal is great for when your laneing mate is disabled).
Valk 1v2 easily
jera/swift and saying too many high mmr people agree. I doubt it bro, there is nothing strong about the lane, it is how you play your lane and how you play your heroes.
Glacius/predator destroys that lane, to give you another (of many) examples.

the problem isnt "ra and monarch"; the problem here is "monarch"
use bubbles, put take cover on auto, this should work

Hero concepts and quick drafts.
monarch + zephyr is much better then ra
valk mag. Both have disjoint, valk focus a bit on big arrows on either of the enemies.
oh and also , would never take advice from someone called "ganjagod" who uses "xD" after every sentence.

All the drama .... there is nothing particularly strong about ra+mona .... stronger lanes are : elec + nymph , pyro + voodo jester, even a freaking glac+sb can kill u better.
The only reason u feel like its seperior lane is prolly coz of ras regen and you not being able to harras him even a bit..... guess what he can still be killed by burst you just have to try and not hug your tower 24/7

Well Jera + Emerald warden is a good counter, jera counter alot of suck op lanes with 1st and 2nd skill - if the go to lockdown jera (which is difficukt) Then right after monach stuns, ew will silence ra so they can make the combo,..

OT: When people want to counter monarch+ra, they think defensive, they think "survive the combo". What happens when you instead go on monarch? That RA stun is alot harder to aim when you're the one going close to him, and not the other way around.

thats nuts imo. as soon as monarch and ra got an idea of position play this tactic wont work unless u got magic immunity coz otherwise u get a) creep aggro and b) ull be in range of monarchs stun-->massive dmg even without ra!
the only reliable tactic if u dont know that u are facing monarch+ra*->gank the **** out of them!
EDIT:*within the picking phase and therefore wont be able to counter them

Yup. I counter monarch with monarch.
But really any quick kill lane you can focus down monarch.
is a good option since he can disjoint easily.
