    Signet of the Magus

    Snake Braclet (1800)
    Acolyte's Staff (2700)
    Recipe (1000)

    Signet of the Magus (5500)


    • 30% physical attack evasion
    • 30 Intelligence
    • Spell Parry - Upon evading a physical attack, resets the cooldown on a random ability of the weilder with a cooldown of 16 seconds or less, but prevents spell parrying for an amount of time equal to the cooldown of the ability that had its cooldown reset, or for 10 seconds, whichever is higher.


    Cost-Benefit
    for an extra 1000 gold, you get an extra 5% evasion, 5 int, and the spell parry passive. the entire point of the item is in the passive, of course, but the other bonuses arent that difficult to acquire.

    Utility
    This item provides a decent upgrade to both of its item components, and gives a a middle of the road offensive and defensive item to int heros. this item supports an offensive playstyle, or can also support a defensive caster style against ganking heros.

    Absolutely not balanced--this would mean zero cooldowns for a lot of heroes.

    well, there is always the possibility of making the cooldown reset on a % chance also, its just the concept im throwing out there.

    You'd have to slap a cooldown on the dodge-triggered refresh, but I still like the concept.

    That's what I thought. A cooldown of ~10-20 seconds maybe should be enough.

    changed spell parrying slightly:

    You should better make it a fixed cooldown, because otherwise heroes like Defiler will get the cooldown of their abilities ~halved.
