Before the 2.5 patch i had to restart hon everytime i finished a game, otherwise i woulda crash at the second game for sure. But in this shitty patch it doesnt work anymore. I have to play in openGL and my cursor is a ****ing black square and the game looks awful ._. i can wait you to fix it, but at least say youre working on it, you just seem to be doing nothing about it, and there is a lot of people with the same problem.
I'm having the same problem with this match is over after the crash.
Oddly enough changing to openGL seemed to solve my crashing issues.... for a while. Then suddenly they returned even in openGL.
Giant headache.
Well i've just downloaded gamebooster today out of all the post in here telling me to. So if you're crashing every end game or at the end of 2nd game like i used to try my temporary fix.
First Download Gamebooster. Latest one.
Second once you have it downloaded there should be this game defrag option. Defrag your HoN folder using GameBooster.
After you've defragged it open your gamebox and add your HoN shortcut. I recommend starting HoN from the gamebox.
After i did those i was able to play 5 - 6 games without crashing. I wanted to see how many games i could play until it would but i got tired after the 6th game.
Hopefully my temporary fix works for you until S2 can help us.
Happy Gaming!
This is so freaking annoying I have some problem - common fix this. Also, i bought pandamonium avatar and still did not get any golden coins back!
Yeah every time i click disconnect the game crashes, also sometimes on Picking Phase it crashes too. Please fix it , its god damn frustrating ......

like the guy above said, windows 7 64-bit. i went to my friends place yesterday and he has a PC much worse than mine and he didn't crash at all. he also has w7 but I checked his details and it's 64-bit. mine's 32. i dont want to change my OS cause because you're so useless and lazy, you know what the ****ing problem is and fix it. it's not because lack of ram.
i got 2 pc: win7 32bit = crash
win7 64 bit = stable
my friend: win7 32 bit = stable
i think the 64 bit is not a solution
S2 doesnt give a **** i guess. this started happening after hontv patch for me and it doest stop.
between each game have often crash or even the same again and loaded when the game starts, it annoys me more time to spend or to login again to reconnect me to play would help as well thanks!^^
Windows 7 CANT PROVIDE A SINGLE APPLICATION WITH MORE THAN 2 GB OF RAM. If your friend plays it on 800x600, well, he can use windows 95 too. WINDOWS x64 is the solution from the day the game started to exist. BUT, i think theres a fix for x32 systems with an update from MS (not the auto updates) that fixes that problem. GOOGLE.COM
I find your lack of faith disturbing.
I would just like to point out for any S2 person that may read this that I have done a significant portion of your work for you in identifying this crash. Refer to my previous post:

Recommended:
Processor - 2.4GHz Core 2 or i3 / 2.2GHz i5 or i7 / AMD 3500+ or faster
RAM - 2.0+ GB for Win XP / 3.0+ GB for Win 7
Video Card - 256MB Geforce 7800+ or Radeon X1900+
OS - 32-bit Windows XP, 64-bit Windows 7
Network Connection Required (Broadband)
32-bit Windows XP
32-bit Windows XP
32-bit Windows XP
32-bit Windows XP
and it crashes every single game I had recently (my PC meets all the requirement above).
for me personally it's a disaster I have to play in openGL with like 20fps just because they released number of useless patches. honTV is so poorly designed I just go to the website manually and it eats so much memory. I'm pretty sure they added "recommended windows 7 64-bit" recently. it wasn't there before. though, I'm pretty sure majority uses 32bit OSs.
can't be the 32bit OS.
with directx and hon at minimum graphic settings i got crash in-game and at end-game
with OpenGL and hon at maximum graphic settings no more crash...
Got same problem. Crashes everygame.
I eat 2 panncakes with 1 bite.
