    [Port: Jakiro] Twinhead the Chimera

    Twinhead, The Chimera


    Role: Nuke/Support
    Affiliation: Legion
    --Story: When the call to arms came, many creatures heeded the call. One of the greatest was Twinhead, a magnificent Chimera. Though they were thought to be wiped out by the Dragon Clans, it seems that somewhere in the mists these beasts still live, and they have sent a champion worthy to represent them.
    HP: 412
    Mana: 305
    Damage: 38-44
    Armor: 2.0

    Range: 475
    Move speed: 310
    Spells:
    -Twinbreath (Nuke/Slow)
    --Twinhead releases a devastating wave of fire from one head, and ice from the other.

    Manacost: 115/125/135/145
    Cooldown: 9 seconds
    Damage: 55x2/65x2/75x2/85x2
    --Effect: Slows enemies for 3 seconds by 20%, deals 10/15/25/30 fire damage a second for 3 seconds.

    --Explanation: This is your bread and butter, spamming skill that any nuker needs to have. With its slow and burn damage, it adds a little more pain to those caught in the blast. Works well for taking down creeps as well.


    -Ice Prism (Disable/Slow)
    --Twinhead fires an icey bolt out in front of him, it creates a frozen path slowing enemies and freezing them.

    Manacost: 80/85/90/95
    Cooldown: 12 seconds
    Damage: N/A
    Duration: 1/2/2/3 seconds
    --Effect: The path in front of Twinhead explodes with ice once per second for the duration. Each explosion freezes units in place for .5 seconds (micro-stun), and slows them by 25% for 3 seconds. Slow does not stack with Twinbreath.

    --Explanation: This skill makes Twinhead effective in team situations, assisting in ganks. It can also keep enemies still while he unleashes his devastating ultimate. Good disable that keeps enemies where you want them. In my experience with HoN so far, a lot of heroes move very quickly and have a lot of blink/ww/tele. This could help counter them a bit.

    Further breakdown:
    Assuming we have an L1 Ice Prism this is what happens:
    Casted: explosion, .5 sec freeze, slow applied
    .5 seconds after cast: units unfrozen.
    1 seconds
    after cast: explosion, .5 sec freeze, slow applied
    1.5 seconds
    after cast: units unfrozen.
    3 seconds
    after cast: If unit was only hit by the first explosion (IE it exited the path before explosion 2) slow is done.
    4 seconds
    after cast: If unit was hit by second explosion, its slow is off by this time.


    -Dual Nova (Passive)
    --Due to mastery of both fire and ice, each attack Twinhead makes has a chance to send out a pulse that both burns and freezes enemies, the burn doing damage, the freeze lowering attack speed. Lasts 3 seconds.

    Manacost: N/A, 25% chance to activate.
    Cooldown: N/A
    Damage: 10/20/30/40 burn damage/sec
    --Effect: Slows enemies attack speed by 20%, also affects towers. 350 AoE.

    --Explanation: This skill, coupled with the first, is what makes Twinhead an effective pusher/laner. Burning and slowing creeps and enemy heroes can start pushing the lanes in your favor. It also makes Twinhead a little less dependant on other heroes to get things done. Adding this with Twinbreath also makes some very nice farming.
    ULTIMATE: Dragonheart (Super nuke)
    --From the belly of the beast comes a heart of flame and rage. Twinhead turns the path in front of him into a holocaust, dealing huge damage to anything foolish enough to stand in his way.

    Manacost
    : 250/300/350
    Cooldown: 60 seconds (1.5/1/0.5 second cast time.) (55 sec CD with Staff Of The Master)
    Damage: 70/80/90 Damage/second (100 with Staff Of The Master)
    Duration: 5 seconds
    --Effect: Burns enemies caught in the large blast for 5 seconds. Cast time improves per level.

    --Explanation:
    The super nuke, the nuke to end all nukes, the nuke that could nuke a nuke and live to tell the tale. :P Twinbreath, Ice Prism, and whilst they freeze, burn them to ashes! This is the clencher and killer, and no hero should take it lightly.



    Hope you guys like it. I tried to stick to the main Jakiro formula, but add some changes. I liked Jakiro a lot, he was one of my main heros during 6.7x and 6.8x. If you see any numbers, effects, or entire skills that need changing, let me know. I'm not against this one not being an exact clone, because as fun as Jakiro was, I felt he wasn't all he could've been in DOTA, and maybe in HoN, Twinhead can be what he could not.

    Ill explain it like this:
    In a straight line in front of the hero, probably 600 units in length, once per second, it freezes a unit for .5 seconds, lets it go, next second freezes it for .5 again, lets it go, ect for as long as the duration, determined by the level. It also slows anything caught in the blast as well.

    So yeah its an AoE multi micro stun and slow.

    Bringing this back up, need more votes/opinions. I know not a lot of people play Jakiro in DOTA, but he was a lot of fun.

    IMO first skill seems a bit weak only 140 direct damage and 60 DoT. In DotA iwas 280 + 60 DoT. Maybe decrease mana cost for spamability or increase damage a bit IMO.

    Second skill loks ok as is.

    Third skill seems a bit too much. Slither only has 20 dmg/sec on his DoT and it doesn't come with a slow? Maybe reduce damage a little and cooldown as well?

    Ultimate seems fine, but will still probably be hard to use really effectively.

    I'll modify the first skill's damage a bit I suppose.

    Third skill is supposed to make him effective in pushing/laning. I'll see what I can do with it.

    Ult + new Ice Prism can actually be deadly, especially if you use Twinbreath before/right after Ice Prism.

    Edit: Changes made and re-explained how Ice Prism works. Comments go go!

    Edit2: Changed Dual Nova again, now based on chance percentage.

    Yeah, the ice prism.

    Is it like a channeling ability where he can't move while casting?

    Or is it just a castable like his first skill. If so does the skill follow him when he moves or does it stay in the place it was casted in?

    Its a single cast. It fires in front of him, and is independent. 600 unit line, 200 units wide.

    Right, I forgot because I was thinking of heroes that have an attack fast enough where it might be a problem. Since hes an Int he doesn't need the CD.

    I think S2 could make a very cool looking Chimera. Something like a cross between Slither and Armadon in his color scheme. Maybe an alternating red and blue scale pattern due to his fire and ice skillset.

    Jakiro was one of my favourite DotA heroes. Damned epic, I had pretty good reason to entrust Jakiro with my games. This reminds me of all of the good times that the opposite team is utterly annihilated with some thoughtful micro and underestimation on their part... Yeah, Jakrio owns.

    He should be quadruple-headed in HoN though. Or even sextuple heads. Or even heptuplate! OR EVEN OVER NINE THOUSAND HEADS, each one with a 1/9000 chance to attack with irradiated cats!

    Oh hey, I should make a Hydra Hero...

    Voted "Yes." I'm not sure what we could do with Jakiro now, though. Personally, I would change the passive to something more heavy-hitting, but I'm not sure what.
