It's already worth more than the "Omg hon noobs will get crushed in dota2 haha" screams from some dotarts, even before dota 2 beta got released. Ex-HoN pros might not win the next Internations, but it's already a huge thing that they are on par with Dota pros in a game more similar to Dota than to HoN.

For all I know and you proved by your original post is what King Raven says. He didn't in anyway link to any stream recording this, another player that agrees or ANY KIND of evidence. From the past year I've been playing Heroes of Newerth I've seen King Raven as a serious type. Therefore his opinion is to me irrelevant, and I had like to see more proof to this statement.

It's amazing how many HoN players have zero idea on what level teams like EHOME, NaVi or M5 are. HoN teams don't come close, they're maybe at the same level as GG.net. HoN is where DotA was in 2009 right now. Individual player skill does not matter that much, it's the team synergy and strategies they execute. Though you have to follow the scene to see this outside of just watching the international games and thinking it's real DotA.
