Story. The Fungus king once a harmless being in newerth once served under the legion using his people to decompose the rotting bodies of those slain. As the war has intensed his domain has grown larger. Soon his fungaloid armies grown vast and his kingdom large and the fungus king sought only to gain more power. Now serving under the hell borne the fungus king seeks the corpses of his formal legion allies.

Fungus lord is a true fungus and a true king. he rules over a vast majority of fungaloids which he generates a ton of. he also like a fungus forms symbiosis and produces offspring using his spores.
fungus lord is a surport tank pusher.

returns to battles quickly
slow attack and move speed

no disables outside of creep waves
The fungus king spreads his spores on nearby ground spawning fungaloids from nearby corpses. fungaloids then run into nearby enemy targets and exploding for 10,20,30,40 magic splash damage and stunning for .1 seconds
spores last for 5 sec in a 600 aoe
fungaloids have 45 hp and 315 ms
mana cost 140
cd 12 seconds
note fungaloids attack nearest enemy and also leave corpses. fungus king beleives in reduce and reuse
fungus king attaches himself to target host sharing damage between him and target for 7 sec.
if fungus king attaches to an ally fungus king will absorb 20%,40%,60%,80% of allies damage and disapate 15% of it.
if fungus king attaches to enemy unit, enemy unit will take 10%,20%,30%,40% of all damage received by fungus king.
mana cost 120
cd 13 sec
fungus king can absorb energy from all sorts of sources, including spells cast around him. each spell cast around fungus king adds a charge.
+1 magic armor
every three seconds a charge is removed and casts an energy nova that does 20 damage per remaining charge.
aoe for charge obtaining 500,650,800,950
nova aoe increases 400,500,600,700
Fungus king is able to regenerate and reproduce quickly through budding.
Physical attacks against the funugs king have a chance of splitting of parts of him creating Fungaloids that explode for 40 spalsh magic damage and stun for .1 second
40%, 60%, 80% to generate 1 fungaloid
20%, 30%, 40% to generate 2 fungaloids
also gives passive hp regen of 75%,150%,225%
edit. 10/22/09 changed wording on symbiosis to maybe make it a little clearer to read.
edit. 10/23/09 changed name of ult. funuguses dont photosynthesize. instead changed it to growth. funuguses are still able to gather nutrients from a variety of diversified sources. just so happens the sun is not one of them. also removed day time requirement.
edit. 10/28/09 reworked ult less regen but combined with budding. new skill phosphoric armor. added pros cons. ty for feed back guys i know i didnt change ultimate exactly how you wanted it but i did honor fact ult needed something more.

I like him frankly... Though he may be a little bit underpowered and may not scale well in the late game, that said... he will make for a great tank late game!
His spells compliment him very well I think, I like the little AOE suggestions for when he incurrs dmg.
Def a great farmer to build up items for late game epic tankage. I would think about adding some type of slow or something with the fungaloid explosions
I agree with Azzy, maybe the minion fungi can leave behind a small, slowing, smoke cloud?
Other than that he seems very balanced and i would looove to play as him.
Edit: Actually, would that be balanced considering the .1 stun?
i like the theme( thow ive already seen it and liked that hero a lot) and the 1st and 3rd powers are good. but i dont like 2nd and ulti. ulti is wrong i think, fungus dont need sun(acording to plants vs zombies) and the 2nd i realy cant read.
ok im not sure how scaled his ult would be cause i got not much ot compare it too. if someone knows how to do the math that would be epic.
also thinking of making the actual spore cloud from his spore ability have an aoe slow inside it so it can be more useful outside of creep waves.

oh and as another note i relized after that funguses dont photosynthesize. perhaps i could change name of ult somehow but i still want it to work the same way. any suggestions on this to flavor wize would be awesome

Nevermind didn't realize Budding was the same affect. I do like this hero, but possibly add attack/movement speed to his ulti? Somewhat like Alchemist on DotA

i see how budding is similar so imma add armor bonus to budding i think. gonna mull it around the ole noggin a bit. love to hear some feed back if people think it needs it. or another idea is to generate a dif kinda fungaloids for budding effect.
suggestions on second type of fungaloid for budding?

I really like this hero.
Skill 1 - I just want to know if there's a damage or spawn cap to this. I would think something like 5 or 6 would be appropriate.
Skill 2 - Very useful both offensively or defensively. I like.
Skill 3 - It's a very useful tanking ability. It doesn't seem drastically overpowered, 40 damage counterattack is pretty weak, though it is aoe. I could see maybe a magic armor or armor reduction fungaloid being really useful here.
Ult - Is this passive? Does it happen all day long? Does it have a cooldown? More info would be good to know to judge how strong this ability would be. If it is passive with no cooldown, 300% seems ungodly. He will simply never die.
With level 25, a behomoth's heart, 2 fortified bracelets, steamboots and a lifetube, he's getting 37 health per second back, without the benefit of behomth's heart 0.75% of max health regen X 300%. It's insane!

thanks for all comments keep em comming. oh and about spawn cap on his ability im thinking no. even if u somehow could rassel up 30 of em which is pretty hard to do it's do only 1200 damage. i say only cause keep in mind they attack nearest enemy. so u prolly wont get hit with full amount unless u stand on a giant pile of corpses. also imma need to rework it cause at the moment it seems its worded to be continuous spawn explode recycle h4x where one just instant spawns.
so imma thinkin perhaps a long death animation for fungaloids would balance this.

Skill 1 and 3: what if the fungaloids have nothing left to attack? Maybe a 5 second timer they auto-explode if they don't reach anything?

ya i know his ult seems boring. im a lil afraid of adding to manny bells and whistles. i beleive simple charecters are best. not saying fungus king is simple but i rather not clutter him with cool stuff and gadjets till i get more feed back but i value what ppla re saying.
Well the concept is quite fun but actually have little synergy in it. Well it the fungaloids would dmg also you the Symbiosis wouldn't be useles to cast on enemy. In late game it would be the only skill that he could kill with.
His tanking ability with his ultimate are outstanding and he could really really fast return to combat after some beating up... Well that a good point i think.
Generally a quite nice concept but I personally wouldn't play him...
I have a great idea to promote synergy and change the ult.
Causes mushrooms to spawn in his footsteps. Mushrooms heal the king slowly and damage enemies slowly.
Then when he attaches to heroes the mushrooms can spawn right under both of them, healing him while hurting the enemy hero.
