I'm concerned that my honest language on the forums would negatively affect my chances of becoming a GM of some description. I don't flame people nor swear but I do enjoy undermining forum users who are very egotistical and selfrighteous. I take it due to the high interest these positions have, S2 won't notify us if we will never be considered.

We do take into account a user's forum activity when choosing GM's.

Would be awesome if you guys let us know when you actually need a GM or a moderator etc etc

New trial GMs have been accepted, are still being accepted, on a regular basis since this thread was created. However, the rate of acceptance has slowed substantially as we are getting to a sustainable level for handling incoming tickets. GMs do quit from time to time so new people are always needed to fill the gaps.

I would say don't expect anything before July.

I applied for SBT, I'm not sure how the process takes place and I don't have the time to read through 20 pages of this thread so could someone shed some light on it real quick?

They have tryouts every now and then. If you have an SBT friend, you can ask him to invite you to the tryouts. (Not directly but by contacting the right people whom I shan't name here in order to prevent his inbox from filling up).

Kinda screwed up my leaver when I started playing, and honestly I don't play enough/played nostats for so long that I still have above 5% Ah well win some lose some wish you had $30 to reset some.

Name change won't affect your forum post count. It would be of your main accout I assume, but subs are also taken into account.

But you don't need a significant amount of forum posts in order to be accepted. There are loads of GM's that have never posted on the forums, or started to become active as soon as they got their maroon name.

Forum posts can either be good or bad for your application. If you're active they go through some of your posts to see what your attitude was like.
