More Anime Suggestions!

Wow... many replies! Thanks for all the great suggestions, i think i have come up with a pretty hefty list of what i will watch.

First on the list is Clannad and the 2nd season, then after some diggin and suggestions i think i will watch Air and then Kanon. Then after i will probably watch Highschool host club.

p.s.- Are air and kanon like sorta the same? whenever i see someone bring up one of the names i almost always hear someone mention the other as well.

I personally don't rate Kanon as highly as Air and Clannad, also why you hear them in the same sentence most of the time is that they are made by the same studio( Key visual arts) if i'm correct they were also the ones responsible for Angel beats! so yeah, they are totally awesome

I am on like episode 3 of clannad as im typing this. Interesting so far, but kinda boring, hope it gets better.

Btw a friend of mine recommended school days to watch, he said he really liked it but after some research alot of people say they hate it. Any thoughts on it?

It gets way better after the first 8 episodes, i was like you in the beginning, stick with it man, i swear you'll never regret it.

Not gonna even rant about angel beats. After reading/watching enough stuff things just feel old and overused. I really tried to like it cause I love Key, but aside from episodes 9-10 I was let down. I still rated it higher than average, for whatever reason.
And, to be blunt, if you like angel beats more than any other key anime, you're a retard.
(though kanon and air are so old they might not be comparable anymore ?)

at least we can agree issho is the best anime ever made

So far I'm only completely sticking with Fate/Zero and Mirai Nikki, I'm not really decided on ben-to, guilty crown, boku wa tomodachi and tamayura (I also can't keep up with them all, anyway)

Best key anime is Clannad any day of the week, i just really liked otonashi, hinata and yui, especially hinata.

i'm watching Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai, and my gosh, its amazing, 8the episode so far.

Just finished Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai, I am now just a hunk of weeping man, God , thanks emiya. wouldnt have found that if i didnt look through your list, i havent watched anime since finishing deadman wonderland a few months ago.

To the OP- ill go on the HsotD and Elfen route as opposed to the mass Clannad that seems to be here.

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, a bit less overall gore and blood then Elfen but alot more psych/mystery element. The dub is horrible and ear piercing but its all uploaded on youtube.

In a general sense for watching dubbed anime Cromartie High School has probably one of the best dubs i've seen and would say it passes the japanese version by far. Although I couldn't directly relate it to anything you've watched thus far. Once again all the episodes are on youtube.


And to Mr fist- I'd say A-Channel, Yuru Yuri, Softenni (there again this genre isn't really my interest so I don't know how accurate it will be for people taste in this genre)
