A single player Crimsonland inspired survival map for HoN.

Where does the file go?
Put the map file "LastStandBeta1.s2z" into the following directory:
c:\Games\Heroes of Newerth\game\maps
Wanna play the map offline? Put the following line into your console to load the map:
StartGame "practice" "Game Name" "map:laststandbeta2 allheroes:true"
Notes: Open up your shop and buy the two items in the start, they under supplies. Don't have to be at the shop to do so.
You can put your water quality on high now, and is actually recommended.
Known Issues and things to do in the future:
Find a way to destroy or stop a wave controller after certain amount of waves.
Make map more awesome.
Tweak the force staff so that it doesn't go over the blockers("cliffs").

I copied and pasted the following into console:
StartGame \"practice\" \"Game Name\" \"map:laststandbeta1 allheroes:true\""
and it said Warning: Invalid game type: "practice"
Ok just a couple more things to point out.
-I got in but I can't move the screen around and I can't move my character.(Idk if that's intended or not)
-I also run out of mana in just a few shots and there isn't any time to drain mana cause I'll die.
You can do normal attacks to save mana and give it time to regen, right click on a target to throw your "dagger" at them, it has quite some range to it. It's slower and does less damage to certain targets like the wolves.
If a target comes within 600 units your hero will automatically attack that target. You have to manually right click on a target to attack them if they are further away.
So in other words you can throw a dagger at one target and shoot another one before your dagger even hits. It's all about mana management.
A wolve takes two physical attacks to kill, or one bullet.
Two wolves comes at you, here's your options:
*Shoot both ->12 mana (6+6)
*Shoot one, kill other one with two attacks and risk a potential hit on you -> 6 mana.
*Shoot one, hit the other one with an attack, shrink him for safety and attack again -> 9 mana (6+3)

So I just went back and tried that.
Lol how long have you lasted without dying? For me it's probably 30 seconds or less. Right clicking and eventually using all my mana doesn't help very much when ebulas, wolves, and skeletons come at you basically around the same time =/
Seems like a cool idea but needs major tweaks.
I know you said you were working on the waves but maybe separate the waves into rounds? Cause then you could have kills give gold which you could use on items/upgrades at a shop before starting the next round or something like that.
Also you should probably bring out the cam distance and attack distance more, it's a little claustrophobic and you just don't have enough time to kill or even reasonably survive the current amount of spawned monsters.

edit: That extra vaga assassin behind the skeleton king spawn at the 30 second mark is kinda unintended. There's only suppose to be two coming for you, followed by the wolves. Having 3 instead of 2 makes it a bit harder than I would of liked to deal with the wolves afterwards that early on.
As for the camera, the problem is the minimap and top scoreboard taking up too much screenspace, unfortunately didn't have time to attempt to remove them or make a new GUI.

Uploaded a newer version. Should be a lot more doable. Tweaked a few things especially the movespeed, and attackcooldown of a few units. Vaga assassins also a little less damage. First minute should be relatively easy now. That's with only using normal attacks and Gun. Also increased the range at which you can throw dagger so you that you can click an enemy as soon as her's in range. Casting range of graveyard also increased a bit.
Also it's closer to 5 minutes now...
Fixed the link, should download the correct version now.
Just did my last edit for Beta1 and uploaded it. Map now ends exactly on 5 mins, previous version was kinda rigged past the 5 minute mark so if you could beat it, good for you because even I had some difficulty.
Finished the current one numerous time now, and I'm happy with the degree of challenge, gonna take a break from the map now and continue another time.
If you know a way to end the game when you die correctly, please do tell. Will implement it in the future.

The Vaga Assasins have a 25% evade chance, so a player must take a small gamble if they want to save mana on them via a normal attack. I just get ready to shoot them in case the dagger misses.

i can't get it 2 work for my. what do i do. i go into a practice game then go to the control f8 thingy and copy and paste StartGame "practice" "Game Name" "map:laststandbeta1 allheroes:true" then it says unkown.. any ideas what to do?
Just completed it on a third or fourth run, quite challenging, but balanced enough!

I lasted 14seconds, heck yes. Missed 2 attacks on vagabond and got all my mana drained almost instantly.
